It has a finer tooth than mothers polish
I have used Gord's polish for about 5 years. It has a finer tooth than mothers polish, but has a cleaning effect and doesn't leave a residue. I have used it on Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, chrome, and brass. It works very well on all these surfaces. Depending on the job, I have applied it with steel wool, Scotch bright pads, sand paper, Terry cloths, and microfiber. I found scotch bright pads work better over steel wool (less scratching), terry cloths are good for buffing and polishing, and microfiber if you only want to clean with without cutting in and buffing. I used this throughout the restoration of a classic motorcycle along with mothers polish. This is very versatile on all the surfaces. On the aluminum I would use this to clean, mothers to cut in and quickly buff, then Gords to get a fine clean polish. This would remove the five scratches left my Mothers.

Great stuff, completely removed all scratches on my wolf cooktop and restored it to new
Scratched the top of my wolf cooktop by using the wrong scratch removing product. Quite badly scratched the entire top apron. As you can imagine, I was quite dismayed. But after watching some You Tube videos, I ordered sandpaper, Alumicut and this, Gord's metal cleaner, with the idea to follow the laborious hand polishing process from You Tube. Gord's arrived first. So, I thought I'd try it alone with some scott abrasive pads. Wow! It not only removed all the scratches, but completely restored the cooktop to new condition. Better than new, in fact. See the front apron surface in the attached photo - Gord's did that, from heavily scratched to mirror finish in half an hour. And I am not a professional. This stuff is amazing. With a little elbow grease and some fine steel wool it will remove scratches and restore luster to uncoated stainless steel. Worth the money. Highly recommended.

Did not have the results I was looking for or ...
Did not have the results I was looking for or expected on the aluminum sided (Living Quarters Horse Trailer). It appears that the aluminum, needed to be acid washed prior to use. Will investigate and update rating if necessary.

Great product!
I used this for my trucks chrome step runners. I bought them new and added then to my truck and wanted to shine and protect. There was just a hint of rust starting to show and this took it off and made a nice shine and I can tell it has added some sealer/protector to the chrome. It's fairly easy to use, it is runny and thin when applying but fairly easy to buff when it dries for a couple minutes. I wanted a quality product and so far this seems to fit my needs.

Nope
Gordo’s is just too runny. I was hoping for a more creamy application. The consistency made it difficult to apply and it would not mix even after shacking the agitator vigorously

Really great liquid polish!!
Much better than anything you can purchase at the auto parts store. I used this polish along with some blue shop towels I had outstanding results.

Works as expected! Shines my instruments up nicely.
I appreciate they wrapped this product up in plastic so in case it would leak. It didn't but still appreciate the care in packing. I've used Gord's for years and make my gongs shiny and new!
