Bought 8/20, broke 2/22. Really lousy for a heavy buckle that falsely appeared to be durable.
2/18/22 Update: I bought in August of 2020. It appears to be very strong, but it has already broken. Years ago when I bought l bought belts, they lasted for many years, especially any belts I owned which were wide and had a heavy buckle, such as this. I guess inferior metal is used these days. Price was cheap, so I didn't knock it to one star, because I got over a year for cheap, but I'd rather pay a little more for many years of use! 8/24/2020 I'm rewriting my review. I was very disappointed because I couldn't put it in my belt which had it's original sown-in belt buckle break. I expected a piece that would go through one side of the buckle, then through the belt, and screw in the other side of the buckle. But upon intensive searching on Amazon, I couldn't find anything of that nature. I felt like rating it a 1, because it gave no indication that this could not be done. But since I could find none that do this, I suppose it's just what would be expected. I expected to be able to put it in my sown belt (as opposed to snaps to hold the buckle in), but cannot. Now I've found a work-around: Amazon "Tandy Leather Screw Post Open Back 1/8" (0,3 cm) Black Plate 10/pk 1296-04" is around $7, and solves this problem. Just ordered them. I can cut the threads out, then use these fasteners, and it should work just fine. (Others have done the same, as I found out in various fastener reviews.) Since there is a solution, and I've looked at many other buckles, this one seems as good as any, better than most, and a much better price than most. As such it deserves 5 stars. (Originally I was going to rate it much lower, since it seemed unusable to me, and I expected it to be used on my kind of belt.) I have another identical belt (different color) that needs to be fixed, and for the same reason. That "Screw Post Open Back..." is a 10-pack, so it's enough to fix both belts with plenty left over, so my belt other belt can be fixed for the outstanding price of this buckle alone.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Looks good, fits well. Roller collar is easy on your belt.
I am handicapped and Western style buckles are extremely difficult to use. This buckle fits my 1 1/2” belt perfectly and is easy to use one-handed.

Too narrow- not 1.5 inches
Very sturdy and well built buckle, but too narrow for any of the 1.5 inch belts we have. Needs to be just a smidge wider.

Product is fine, and fairly priced but the shipping is over the top expensive. Has turned me off ordering on-line.
