Easy install-well made
I ordered this a year or so ago and I am so glad I did. It is keeping out flies and gnats. I live in the desert so Fall is the time we open our doors finally. This screen is durable, works as advertised and has made it through me and my dog for several seasons (3) now. Very cost effective because I have an odd sized doorway that would take a custom made door. This is a perfect solution. Also want to note that the magnets work well and as they should to close the screen.

incredible!
What an amazing product - compared to what I've seen in the past - I'd give it 6 stars if I could, not only because it works great but because my dogs love it!! :-) My friend has a great backyard that my dogs love to play in when we come for extended visits - but he wasn't too happy about the flies coming in his house when I left the door open for them - and, like some dogs, they would want to come in, then go back out, 'all day long'. :-) So I bought him this 'screen door'. The quality is excellent - does not feel too thin or easily torn and it looks really nice. Install was straight forward if you follow the instructions. It took under an hour to install - especially when you have 'two' bosses on the job. :-) I was very impressed with how well the magnets work on this screen - sometimes it takes a moment or two to connect but it always connects, nice and snugly. We did find that although we had to order the longer length than the actual door size, we felt we could do as others suggested and install it a bit higher if it was too long. But such was not the case - which I thought was odd. It fit perfectly top to bottom - although, on occasion, there is a small gap at the bottom (see photo) - in other words, it's probably best to order longer if available for your door size. That did not seem to be an issue, however - as no flies tried to get in from the bottom and most of the time there was no gap. The other problem to consider, in my friend's application, is his door is metal. That means you have to consciously flip the door screen behind you when entering otherwise sometimes it will 'attach' to the door instead of itself if you have a metal door. I was also concerned it may look tacky leaving it up all year long - but it actually looks quite nice and will be great for him when he wants to just leave the door open for natural breezes. But the best part about this screen is it is dog-friendly! My two great danes are very boundary conscious - they will never try to jump a small gate or even a low decorative edging around a flower bed. I feared they would see this screen as a barrier and would not even try to go through it. If you put a small chair in front of something - even if there is a gap to go around, they won't. I knew I would have to train them to accept this screen - and that I did need to do. It took about 20 minutes for success: letting them see me walk in and out several times, then luring them with just my hand through the opening, with a treat - trying to entice their noses through; then a little more - more treats for each small step forward - until they did it on their own. Once they overcame their 'fears' they were so proud of themselves and used it regularly like it wasn't even there.

Research how to apply to door frame/prep surface of frame
After reading the reviews, both good and bad...I bought this magnetic screen door. Using some soap and water, I cleaned the surface of the metal to attach the adhesive backed Velcro. After it dried well, the next day, I used rubbing alcohol and cotton balls to clean and remove any residual fingerprints, oil etc. I researched how to install and found out a slight rise in the center top of the screen as you apply to the top of the door frame creates the perfect pitch to snap those magnets together. So as you look at the door frame, measure the top area you have to apply the screen Velcro to attach. Apply the center first about 1/4”-1/2” higher than the rest of the top line sloping ever so gently toward the outside edge of the top. Place your Velcro along the sides straight down on both sides. The screen has the Velcro securely sewn on with neatly covered edges. Apply the screen first in the center of the top frame. Secure by pressing firmly. Then apply the sides pressing firmly all the way down. I have used this screen door for my 8’ Anderson slider and it works better than the actual slider screen door. I have three very large GSDs who love the outdoors and chasing off squirrels. When the slider is open, if a squirrel or chipmunk appear on my deck, the 78# female and 85# and 107# males run full speed through that magnetic screen door and it snaps shut right behind them. On rare occasion, one flap hangs up on the electrical box beside the left portion of my door but honestly, this is one strong well made screen door. I love it and doing the research was worth all the effort. If this door is positioned correctly with a tiny pitch in the very center top, this is an absolute winner!!!! I will never have a sliding screen door again with my big dogs. UPDATE 04/16/2024 After 4 years of having this screen up on my slider, an essential for having two large GSDs in northern Michigan, I finally had to replace the screen. I should add we have very cold winters with very low temperatures and gale force winds. Normally I take the screen down in winter but I decided to give an honest review, I should leave it up year round. I expected good results but truly nothing like I got. After 4 full years of hanging on my Anderson Metal frame slider doorway, I finally got a crack in the center of one side and because mosquitos up here along the Great Lakes are really the state bird, it had to be replaced. I searched my Amazon orders and was extremely shocked to find the date of May 2020 as date of installation. I knew it would be good but 4 years??? The winters are very harsh here and I have to restrain my deck yearly and everything has to be renewed. Rubbing Alcohol is perfect for degreasing the surface for best adhesion of the Velcro. Replacing the magnetic screen door was so easy. I really didn’t have to replace the Velcro but I got new with the replacement door and I put it up exactly the same way as first. I sloped the sides down slightly from the center each way. I put the Velcro directly over some of the glue that I couldn’t get off the frame and it was still very VERY sticky. The dogs are so happy to have their old friend, the magnetic screen door from MAGZO back. They have made many trips in and out (testing the replacement door) even though it’s not warm enough outside to have the heat off in the house atm. I sure hope everyone else has as wonderful experience as we have with this product. It IS the only magnetic screen door I will use for my dogs comfort and long lasting quality. Thank you MAGZO.

Good DYI screen.. I did a small enhancement
Good product, appears very well made. Works beautifully on my back door in the Texas heat. Magnet strength seems very good. The installation is very well written even giving you options for screen replacement.. the product comes with a standard 3/4 in velcro strip for you to apply to your door trim. From my experience on other units, the top Velcro strip is what carries all the weight and I was worried that the 3/4-in strip adhesive wouldn't hold up long in the Texas heat. So I replaced it with a piece of 2-in velcro self-adhesive strip (purchased here on Amazon). Why you may ask: the top strip carries the bulk of the weight, and extra adhesive strip dristributes the weigh. I'm completely happy with the installation as you can see in the photos. I would buy this product again

Does the Job and Easy to Install
I purchased this screen for the 36" side door of my garage. It goes along with the larger model, from a different manufacturer, which I installed on the main garage door. My garage was converted to a home gym years ago and during the summer months the flies can get pretty bad. After trying everything to keep the numbers down and make it tolerable I finally decided to screen the doors, not even knowing there were screens like these available. This one installed in just minutes. Unlike the main door the frame on the side door is made of aluminum so the stick on the Velcro tape is all that is holding it in place. Where as I was able to add a few staples to keep the Velcro attached on the main door which has a wooden frame. But so far it seems to be holding tight and it gets opened and closed 10+ times a day. I did clean the frame real well with mineral spirits and a wire brush to help the tape adhere better. It seems to be solidly attached so only time and a cold Michigan winter will determine if it stays put. I will likely take the screen down in the winter once it is no longer needed and plan to take care when separating the Velcro just to be on the safe side. Like the larger model it opens by just pushing through it and pretty much seals shut like a zipper once you pass through. If not a slight push with one hand will usually get the job done. It does have a small tab you can grab to open it from the outside which I wish the larger model had too. Since the threshold is raised and not very deep, the bottom of the screen does not seal tight but leaves about and inch or so gap. But so far it does not seem the flies have caught on there is a slight gap. Plus the gap allows my dog to get her nose in so she can go in an out on her own. The fabric is very flexible but strong so I suspect it will last a few years at least and given the price point having to replace it every few years would not be a huge deal. It came with a pretty decent patch kit too which was a nice bonus. That is as long as I can remember where I put it when the time comes. Overall I am very pleased with this screen and together with the larger model I now have a bug free gym and place to meditate in peace at night without mosquitoes. I can definitely recommend this screen for a similar application. Update May 18, 2022 Just ordered my second one of these screens for the same door. So the life span is about two years - for me anyway. I took it down during the winter months but it was up for at least 8 months of the year and the door faces south so it gets sun almost all day. I probably could have gotten another year of out of the original once, but it was getting pretty word and somewhat dry from the sun damage. Considering the heavy use and weather conditions I am more than happy with the value I got for my $20 and can recommend this screen without hesitation.

Keeps Out Flying Bugs and Easy Entry/Exit
Functional & More Durable. My own personal thoughts & an Unpaid review. This MAGZO magnetic screen door is a much improved design from others I have tried! We really enjoy it! It keeps the bugs out and is self-closing when installed properly. (For installation tips, see the mfg. instructions and read/or further below in my review). The screen is durable--much better quality than other flimsy ones I have tried. I like it because the mosquitos are really bad around these regions and I have a toddler to protect. It would also be great for people with pets. What made this product even better: 1) Be sure to buy the correct size. It seems obvious, but I had to buy different sizes because of variances in my doors. It is a good idea to dry fit the magnetic screen door BEFORE you install it. Please note: this vendor willingly exchanged mine when the fit was not correct. 😊 2) Lay out the screen door on a flat surface or floor. I did mine about a day or so to remove the wrinkles naturally and to make installation easier. 3) Wipe the door facing with a cloth to remove pollen and dust; so, that the adhesive will stick properly. If you use a wet cloth, please let the facing dry thoroughly or the adhesive will not stick properly. Also, it is helpful to choose a dry day versus a rainy/wet day. 3) Apply the Velcro to the screen door as it is flat on the floor. I used three pieces: one across the top and then, one piece on both sides. I mashed the Velcro onto the screen door--firmly--before the install. IMPORTANT: Do Not remove the Velcro backing paper until you are ready to install or in the process of installing it. 4) One installation tip that makes this product self closing, is to install the top of it Slightly Higher than the outer corners of the screen door. It really makes the difference. I learned the hard way with my 1st experience. Think of it as installing only the very center of the top of the screen Before the rest of the top edge. Raise that section about 1/4" higher than the top of the door facing opening. Then, angle the rest of the top of the screen, slightly down until the corner of the door facing opening. Check how the screen hangs and evenness. If it's correct, firmly press the center Velcro down and remove the rest of the Velcro paper on the top edge only. 5) Now, I know it repetitious, but recheck the door fit. Is there enough material to reach the sides and completely cover the door opening? IF it does and if it closes properly by itself: completely closes in the middle with no gaps or wrinkles, proceed with finishing the install. IF it does not, make adjustments until it is correct and then, proceed to finishing the install. 6) The last steps are both the same; they are for the sides. Slowly remove the velcro paper as you follow down one side of the screen door edge and Lightly adhere it to the door facing. IMPORTANT: Do Not press it firmly until all installation is complete and adjustments are made. Repeat with the opposite side of the screen door edge--only pressing lightly. 7) Now, recheck the door fit. Is there a enough material to reach the sides and completely cover the door opening? IF it does and if it closes properly by itself: completely closes in the middle with no gaps or wrinkles, proceed with finishing the install. IF it does not, make adjustments until it is correct and then, proceed to finishing the install. 8) Finish by firmly pressing on all Velcro edges and enjoy!

Easy setup
I give a 3 stars for easy setup. However, if you want a tight closure when the magnets connect in the middle it really isn't. I have had other screens in the past that did this much better. This screen is also lighter in every way and that can be good or bad depending on what your needs are. It's not dark and allows all light through if that's what you want. It's light so easy to maneuver and set up.
