Skutt Kiln Thermocouple Type K, 8-Gauge Replacement Kiln Part SK1515

I used this to replace the one in my kiln for my classroom - was easy to do and works great

This is the only shop I found where I could buy this part, from the Netherlands, for a reasonable price as well and without added costs even. It was delivered within a week, was easy to place, and my kiln is working again!

This is the oem thermocouple and works for the KM1227 kiln

You need to replace this sensor after some 100 high temp kiln firings. Replacing them is easy, replace when the thermocouple junction is cracking.

Just what I needed. Had to cut it because I have a small kiln so the walls aren’t as thick as some, but it all went well and fit into place with just a little wiggling. Kiln is back up and running in just a few minutes.
