Great scooter
I bought this scooter as a graduation gift for my son, so he can save gas and be able to get around on campus being a freshman. I'm am so pleased to say it's sturdy durability is worth every penny spent. The weight capacity is over 260lbs + and the speed is great. It folds very easy. He loves the turn signals, brake light and the headlights especially at night because he's visible to others. It's has way more features than then described. Battery life is long lasting. Height adjustment is good. So many good things but the best is the scooter allow my son to make it to class on time and 2 months as a college student he was just inducted in to the Honors College and has all A's I'm so proud of him and he so thankful he doesn't have to walk around campus and he said it's fun to ride with great functionality. All his friends want one. I highly recommend this purchase.

💯 recommend
Excellent Value for Daily Commuting – Highly Recommended I’ve been using the EcoRoad scooter for my daily commute, and it has exceeded expectations in both performance and reliability. It’s efficient, easy to handle, and offers great battery life for the price point. The build quality feels solid, and the ride is smooth even on uneven roads. For anyone looking for an affordable, dependable scooter for everyday use, I would confidently recommend the EcoRoad. It’s truly one of the best options in its category.

Decent buy, false power/speed claims
This is a decent scooter but it clearly not as powerful as it claims. I bought a 350W one from another brand for my wife, and this "500W" one for me being taller and heavier and the 350W one is stronger going uphills and faster top speed. i thought it was just my weight so I swapped with my wife and we raced and I still won on the 350W one. Also the speedometer is not accurate because it maxes out at 19mph even going downhill when you can clearly feel you're going faster, plus compared to my wife's that's reading 18mph while it passes me. Last I checked 18 is less than 19 but I could be wrong. The rear brake stops you very fast, the only issue is it arrived with a small warp in the rotor so you feel it when braking, it's not smooth, but it works. The battery life is pretty good. I've ridden around my very hilly neighborhood (I'm in CO) for an hour and only used about 20% of the battery. Overall it's cool and fun but not worth the price compared to the cheaper, stronger one I bought for my wife. I do like that handle bar height and deck height though.

not happy at all
Product did not work/ charge. After we sent a message that it didn't charge. We were sent a motherboard to replace. How are responsible to do that? Just replace the faulty scooter we paid for and take our broken one. The one you sent doesn't work. Take some acknowledgement.

Good bang for buck
Fun scooter, good bang for the buck. 3 modes: Eco, Balanced and Sport. 12, 18, and 25 mph. You might get 32 miles on Eco mode, but in sport mode you will get way less distance. I got about 12 miles before I had to recharge, and this was using both balanced and sport mode. Like most cheaper scooters, it does have some issues climbing hills, but is still decent, especially at lower inclines. Anything over 15% incline, and the speed drops significantly. Speeding up takes a bit on flat surface, and doesn't hit max speed as fast as some of my other scooters. Other than that, it was cheaper than the others I had, and faster too.

I was pretty happy with the result of this E-Scooter. I am 102KG in weight. 5'9", and this was the perfect size for me. It had a good enough motor to carry me up a hill on S mode, it went from 30km/h to 12 km/h but once we level again and no longer going up an 35/40 degree incline. The bike resumed at full speed again. The tires and the suspension helped make this a much more comfortable ride than the rentascooters. Found in the city. The light is sufficient in nighttime riding. There is enough light in front and in the back to be seen and the Bell. The bell is important, it's LOUD since it's a regular bell, but it can be heard from 6 yards away. Clearly enough for dog walkers to take notice and prepare for me to passby. You can spam the bell too and it's non electric, this was such a saver for me. It lets ppl know right away from afar that your behind them and they just kinda freeze and look behind them as you slowly approach (odd NPC behaviour). My only gripes with this escooter was the foot space is a bit small. The battery does tend to drain fairly quickly but you can change the speeds to moderate your battery usage. I didn't charge it overnight between uses and it magically recharged itself from 4 bars to 5. I didn't bother to recharge it as it was it's first charge and I wanted to drain it before I started to use it fully as the first charge seems to drain faster for some reason. although the battery recharging itself from non-use. is a good sign. Some of my regular batteries in other products do that and it's a sign of a good battery. Overall, I was very much happy with this Budget Scooter. The Bag and the extra inner tube is no longer given. Only one inner tube and no bag. They must have downgraded from the initial release. Oh well. I honestly don't mind. The tires were pre-inflated and I didn't need to inflate them when I took it out of the box. The battery was nearly fully charged too when I took it out of the box. I charged it for 1 hour it seemed. I recommend to check on it frequently when charging to prevent over charging to prevent battery explosion or fire. That is all for now.

Awesome built scooter. I like the quality, and it meets all the specs advertised. I had a bit of an issue with my scooter but the customer service was responsive to my questions and helped me out. I would recommend purchasing it to others. Comparing EC6, EC8 and EC9, personally 10" wheels and dual suspension is a must! My friend's 8" wheel segway is unridable due to the amount of potholes on Canadian roads. The EC8 met all my criteria, plus it's lighter than the EC9. The scooter rides smoothly like a bike, considering I'm going way faster than bike speed. Turn signals are only useful at night. Red is a very eye-catching colour, I see a lot of heads turning when on the road.

Says it does 30, only does 22 (I checked using only of those school zone speed signs) Only has 10km range in fast mode. Normal mode goes 83% of 22kmph (says 25 on the dash). Eco mode only does 11kmph Battery will show 4 bars until it's too late, battery is nothing when it has 2 bars. Suspension is great, but turn signal are so dim they're useless. Don't buy. You must pay $100 to ship and return. It's not the normal free Amazon return

ECOROAD Electric Scooter EC6 is pretty nifty; it has its pros and cons as does anything. The screws for the handlebar are already stripped luckily they give you two extras but I sure hope I never have to take them down since they are already stripped (soft). The instructions aren't as clear as they should be and can be downright abysmal for beginners. The least you could have in your instruction booklet is what the symbols mean like Eco-max speed 14km/h, d for 25-30km/h, s I thought was speed control but I believe its switching from km to miles etc however, not all the time I click through, and walking dude- max of 6km/h or for uphill. It boasts blinkers but honestly they are very hard to see in the day time and the light isn't what I would feel safe with on the road at night so I probably will not be using them too often. I find it hard to grasp the break on the left especially if you are right handed and if you have smaller hands I really only have the one finger on it and I do not feel all that secure. It beeps a lot at me and I have no idea why; now I have to say, I am 50 years old and I had a blast on this thing. OMG! I loved it. Great for getting to the mailbox, running over to a neighbours house etc. The manoeuvrability isn't as great as I thought and wider turns than expected but it is more stable than I thought. Even my almost 80 year old father loved riding this and thought it would be great on the golf course. Course I am not fond of the fact that this promotes laziness compared to bike riding or walking but even off road, along the grass etc. is pretty good. You definitely feel the curbs and the brakes needed some softening at first since you could not gradually apply without jerking but they are good considering how fast you can stop going at max speed. I was impressed with that. It folds down so easily and can be carried easily as well although the clip that holds it compressed while you carry is plastic and that holds the entire weight while carrying. Has a simple bell to warm people to get out of your way. The kickstand is a little loosy goosy and I have a hard time putting it down with my shoes since it seems quite tucked under so I am often doing it by hand but honestly for 300 dollars this is a great little machine. The range worries me a bit in that I wish I could take this out to the grocery store without worries so I would have liked more of a buffer of more like 30k and we'll see how long the battery even gives me the 20k range since batteries are always great when new but diminish fast which leads me to my last point; they built a solid machine but it is only as good as the lifetime of its battery, I really wish they would design for lifetime replacements/improvements instead of just throwing it away and getting a new one. I wish it displayed how far you've gone so you need an external distance measure as you test its full capabilities. As a new fun toy and small commutes and with the price this is a 5 star, however, as an engineer, the practicality, the design, the lack of documentation it is a 4 at best.

For the price, it's a great offering. Especially if you are on the lighter side in terms of bodyweight. PERFORMANCE: Being on the heavier side for a scooter like this(250lbs/114kg) it can still climb me up most moderately steep hills if I have a good run-up in "S" mode. I go from the top speed of 19mph/30km/h down to around half that by the top. By "Hills" I mean bridges that you see go over a highway on most trails. I assume these are around 20-25° slopes. As stated, it can get me to the top speed quite easily in non windy conditions. But, if it's windy, I can only hit 23km/h(14mph)-25km/h(15.5mph) this also makes climbing hills more difficult for the scooter. Range in "E" mode will reach the advertised 29km/18 miles. But, in "S" mode you will only reach around 17.5km/11 miles. "D" mode is somewhere in between. Wind and temperature affect this slightly. But only about 1km(0.6 miles)-2km(1.2 miles) difference at the most. Also, speed and acceleration take a big drop when the battery indicator hits 1 bar. And a slight drop around 2 bars. Each bar is 20% battery(Around 5.8km/3.6miles per bar in E mode, or 3.5km/2.2miles per bar in S mode) except when it hits 1 bar, there is a strange fluctuation that briefly happens where it will go back up to 2 bars a few times, this happens for a couple of kilometers. Which makes me think that 2 bars is slightly more than 5.8km/3.6miles, and 1 bar is slightly less. That is where I take 1 star off, since they should advertise the maximum range is only in "E" mode. It is slightly misleading. Brakes are pretty good. You need to apply a good amount of pressure to get good stopping power, but I have found myself being jolted forward when being unprepared. Make sure to lean back a little bit before braking. The ride quality is fine for the price. The pneumatic tires help a lot here, since the rear suspension doesn't seem to be doing much over terrain where you'd actually want it to be working hard. If you just bend your knees before a big bump, you'll absorb it better than any shock absorber can do. If you weigh much less than me, your range will likely be even better since the motor does not have to work as hard to maintain the same speeds, you will likely accelerate to top speed faster, even in windy conditions. You will likely not notice the low battery performance drop as much, and you will likely be able to make it up inclined slopes easier. And lastly, brakes should work better too. I am currently losing weight and will update the review as I continually do so. FEATURES OTHER THAN PERFORMANCE: I bought this scooter because I specifically did not want some finicky app to deal with. But, I now find myself sometimes missing the extra features I could get, or even just keeping track of how far I have taken this scooter in total. Though, if you just want to hold down a button and get on the road, it's great for that. The turn signals are useless from their position, I never use them honestly. Hand signals are unbeatable. At first, it is pretty difficult to switch modes while you are moving. The thumb throttle is also finicky at first, but you get used to both of these quirks within the first week. With that said, setting cruise control at a specific speed is difficult, since you have to hold the thumb throttle in the same position for 6 seconds. Any bump means you'll probably move the throttle a little bit and need to start again. This is why I end up using cruise control at the top speed in each mode, but it would be nice to cruise at 20km/h(12.5mph) more often than not. The headlight won't be illuminating very far in front. I imagine It's more so there so people know where you are. Lastly, the scooter is easy to fold and is pretty lightweight. It is sometimes difficult to release it from the latch to unfold though. It has no other special locking features or anything.
