Fun Variety Pack!
This was very fun. I have never planted carrots before, let alone rainbow carrots. They were very easy to plant as the seeds were very small. They grew very fast and are still growing. It was a great value for all the varieties I received. Will buy again.

To my fellow novice...
I'm a southern city slicker but I've had good luck with these seeds, despite that. I have had some trouble with the cooler weather plants because I got a late start and it's already hot here but they've all come up. I haven't planted anything that didn't germinate, so far. I have had gardens before but I'm still pretty much a novice. If you fall into this category, what has helped me so much is finding an agricultural seeding and harvesting PDF from a local State University. It told me an exact window of when to either start seeds inside or plant them directly into the ground. I strongly encourage you not to think of this as a weekend project. Getting the garden ready is weekend #1. Then sit down with one of these seed guides and a calendar and write down when to plant your seeds, when to transfer them (if applicable) and when to expect them to be ready to eat. This sounds like a lot, and it is up front, but it will ultimately save you so much time and yield better results. I've found this process to be much smoother and less overwhelming and next year I'll already have everything written down. I found an electric tiller on here which was also available at my local hardware store. I have a gas powered one but it's honestly such a beast and it's so hard to keep it running. The new one is less powerful but so much better for me to handle. I just went over it a few times and it was perfectly fine. I don't know if I'm allowed to link it but it was a 13.5 amp in the 125 range. The only thing that would make this pack better would be a little more variety in tomato seeds.

Germinated fast
I planted a Napa seed and red cabbage in my Growell hydroponic system and it germinated pretty fast. I would recommend these seeds. Im excited to plant more seeds once I reset.

Great value if you have a large garden (still a win for a smaller garden too)
This is for my daughter's high school agriculture project. In order to get something prior to the end of school, and have the project done early we went with "winter vegetables." I assumed that all these would be plantable during the winter (which is mild here, rarely below zero and hard freezes are years apart.) That isn't the case. Apparently squash is considered a winter vegetable because it stores well, for winter consumption. The beans aren't winter plantable either, and maybe one other variety. Beyond that, however, this is a great package. We seeded directly into a raised garden and planted 4-5 seeds per site to make sure we had success. About 50% of the sites had germinated in a week, probably 95% at day 14, and all but one (71 of 72) germinated on the first pass. As noted, I put too many seeds in per site, so we'll have to thin them shortly... however, this package provides plenty of seeds so there was no need to be skimpy. Using a more standard 2 to 3 seeds per site, I suspect this combo would allow for a few hundred sites. Obviously, if you're planting a few of each vegetable, the packs with a smaller number of seeds would work well enough, but if you've got the space this selection is a great value for the money. These are good looking plants also, and given the germination rate, they seem to be really good stock. Only ~14 days in, of course, but I'm optimistic. As past of her project, my daughter calculated that we'd get 98 pounds of produce from our garden, and if we get anything close to that it's a big win. Now I just have to find recipes to use 15 pounds of kohlrabi and rutabaga...
