D'Addario PB024 Phosphor Bronze Wound Acoustic Guitar Single String, 024

Having kept breaking G string after G string, irrespective of make or price, I decided to go with D’Addario, primarily because of reviews. They’re not silly expensive, nevertheless I thought they might lack in quality. WRONG. A great find, and while I haven’t swapped all the strings collectively on my acoustic guitar but instead just added the single purchased D’Addario G, I’ve nonetheless still retained the warm sound I’m used to. Nice one.

I kept breaking my G string while fitting a new saddle and nut so bought quite a few of these because I was obsessed with getting the saddle perfect so kept breaking the G string every time I loosened strings to take saddle out I ordered quite a few then they stopped breaking so I now have a spare g string for everyday of the week and special occasions good quality strings

Always good string seems to be the go to strings for most guitarist I've always found them to be strong and last longer than most especially since I use high tension open tunings a lot.

I do like these strings. I break a fair few Gs and Ds, but then I do thrash the living daylights out of my poor guitar when I get excited - and I always get excited when I go to Open Mics.Like the title says, I think they have a very pleasing balance of crispness and warmth and that's why I come back to them again and again.

Not cheap, but very reliable strings from D'Addario. They are very consistent.

I know it sounds a bit silly to write a review for a single guitar string, but this really solved a problem when I was staying really far from a city and broke a guitar string. Price including postage and speed of delivery (with Prime) to a pretty remote area was extremely reasonable. As for the string itself, D'Addario Phospor Bronzes sound fantastic in my opinion.
