Best protein on the market. Low in calories, high in protein, easy on the stomach. The peanut butter flavors have always been my favorite. Stay away from the twinkie flavor, it is absolutely vile.

This review has both flavors.. which have largely differed ingredients. 5 stars on the Red velvet, and any with the ORIGINAL recipe that have some milk powder for texture . OATMEAL flavor is bad. They changed ingredients, how is it whole food’s when a large portion is protein milk protein concentrate (that has lactose!) yet advertised as lactose free. Tastes aweful, smells bad. I was hooked on this with the vastly different old recipe. This one smells like whey protein when I open it also. Does not mix.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this protein blew me away. MRE Lite actually taste amazing- I've tried vanilla and brownie flavor. It mixes super smooth, no clumps, and it doesnt have that chalky texture most protein have. (BTW I have used lactaid, almond milk, regular whole milk and 2%- all mixed great). What makes this product stand out is how clean it is. I love that its made from real whole foods, not just whey. You can feel the difference- It's easy on my stomach- no bloating/heaviness - and its kept me full for hours. I use it after a workout or as a quick meal when I'm on the go. For the quality you’re getting, the price is totally worth it. Each serving is packed with protein, and it lasts a while because you don’t need to double scoop like other brand. Low sugar, high protein, and great flavor… this one checks all the boxes. Definitely my new go-to protein powder. Highly recommend!

Order arrived on time and as described. Powder mixes well in cold or room temp water/juice/milk. I am totally fine with the flavor, hubby doesn't like the artificial taste. Great protein source. Fantastic boost to smoothies as the flavor is quite mild and easy to cover up with fruit. DO NOT USE IT IN HOT BEVERAGES!! I tried it in oatmeal with success, it didn't change the flavor of the oatmeal much, but did still have a bit of "artificial" taste. Tried it in coffee and it cooked the protein! Tasted fine, but the texture was undrinkable, gritty and chewy. Overall, will buy again. Great value and a handy sized container.

I've bought Oatmeal Chocolate Chip from Redcon1 for ages and its always been my favorite protein powder (I've tried a LOT). It had a fantastic taste, and doesn't mess with my stomach like whey proteins do. I would give the old recipe a 5/5 any day of the week. Unfortunately, they switched manufacturers and as a part of this process they changed the ingredients. THE NEW STUFF IS VILE. I thought I might have got a bad batch so I re-ordered and its the exact same thing. The texture is different, the color is darker, the cookies inside of it are different, there are white bits that float in it now and it tastes like milk that's soured. Redcon1 has made a statement saying “We recently identified a flavor deviation that affected product consistency for some of our MRE Lite flavors and are already working closely with our manufacturing and retail partners to correct it.”, but until its fixed this stuff is borderline undrinkable. They should not be selling any product from these batches and the right thing to do would be issuing a recall. The 120 Cal serving is the original, 130 is the awful new stuff. I wish I had any of the original powder left so I could show a side by side of how different they look mixed.

Taste really great, I read pages on the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I’m on keto and I’ve limited my carbs to 40 a day and my calories to 1600 a day. This is low carb 4 grams, and low calorie 130 per scoop. I mixed it with unsweetened almond milk and blended it with ice. It blends very well and now I have a lite milkshake. I highly recommend if you’re serious about weight loss it’s a great resource when you need something to get up and go with.

I’ve tried the Fudge Brownie, Vanilla Milkshake, and now the Peanut Butter Cookie. I’ve completely finished the first two cans and am now on my third. The only way I’ve ate the protein so far is by mixing it with plain Greek yogurt for breakfasts or for a “dessert” type yogurt bowl. It mixes really well and turns the yogurt into a slightly thicker texture. I don’t cannot speak to how well it mixes with liquids. I’m thrilled to have found a protein that helps me meet my health goals, satisfies hunger, and is budget friendly.

Very tasty, a little expensive but worth it

Blends so well with Greek yoghurt! Tastes like cake icing, I’m also feeling stronk.

Mixes well, even just with water. A nice cinnamon-y flavour with a hint of apple, not too sweet at all which is perfect for my taste! Doesn’t feel super heavy like the peanut butter cookie flavour did. Def my favourite flavour yet!

Great Product

This is the best protein powder hands down! The vanilla is delicious. The fudge brownie is also good, but the vanilla is truly delicious - and I don’t usually like vanilla.

For those people with any sort of lactose issue, this protein is one of the best alternatives you can get, mixes well, tastes amazing. Truly a great product
