Great for teaching toddlers value of cleaning!
I wanted to get this for my son to learn how to "clean" up his mess and he has learned with this vacuum. He now knows where and how to vacuum and this toy really gets him excited for cleaning time, so lots of great educational value. The toy includes multiple ways to play music and has actual vacuum sounds. Beware, the music does get stuck in your head. The on/off buttons can be slightly confusing at first but it is easy to figure out once you get used to it (I can show in video). The vacuum is not that tall, so make sure that the height works before buying this product. The vacuum is also pretty sturdy and heavy, so beware if your toddler is hitting it around the furniture because it can cause scuffs. I am not a huge fan of the color because it gets the kids super hyper but the kids love the color and the design is cute. My one complaint is that the vacuum cannot stand on its own once it is upright, so we have to store it in a small place otherwise it will just fall flat. Functionally, it's not the best. Despite that flaw, the songs are fun, the product is durable, and it teaches my child the value/fun of cleaning. Highly recommend if you are looking to teach your child the value of cleanliness or just looking for a cute toy!

Small but fun
Smaller than expected but it’s a nice size for little ones to drag around! The noise does not change when pushed it only makes sound when buttons are pushed. Not a pro or a con to me!

My toddler's favorite toy!
My son received this toy vacuum for his first birthday. He's about to turn 2 and it's still his favorite toy! He loves pushing it around and listening to the songs. Such a cute toy.

Absolutely adorable
At the moment of purchase, my son was into vacuums. I vacuum the floor, he grabs the extendable hose and pretends to vacuum next to me. So, logically, he was getting a vacuum for Christmas! We found this one and gave it to him. He loved it. Now, my son vacuumed with me and my husband. He listened to songs about colors, counting, and cleaning, plus moved around in the same way as a functional vacuum. Here are my thoughts: The music function is LOUD. Super loud. Also, it's a bit weird to hear songs instead of vacuuming sounds when you turned it on, but my son didn't seem to mind much. It's small and lightweight, so toddlers and preschoolers alike can use it without much supervision. The battery lasts a decent amount of time, and it just looks super cute. The bad stuff? There is an on of button as part of the toy aspect of it. It does NOT turn off the vacuum and you WILL wake up in the middle of the night scared out of your mind when something accidentally triggers a button and the thing starts singing about cleaning up. When the battery starts to get lower, the high volume setting starts to sound weird. I didn't see an issue with the low volume option, but kids being kids, they only want the loudest setting ever, so they'll notice and complain. Even with that, my son is so darn cute that I'll use it over and over again. . . . After hiding it in the closer for a month or two to recharge mentally.

one year old LOVES this vacuum, and so do I!!
My one year old daughter got this for her birthday and has been obsessed with it ever since!! She seriously loves it. We looked at several toy vacuums and are so glad we chose this one. It is super cute and sturdy, but light enough for her to carry around. It plays the cutest songs about shapes, colors, numbers, team work, and cleaning up. It also lights up and flashes the different colors as it talks about them. It doesn’t actually have any sucking ability—which we are really happy about. I don’t like the idea of having to empty out our toddler’s vacuum. As other review have said, it is extremely short, but it is the perfect size for her to push and pull. She will probably out-grow it in a year (there is no way it will make it to age 3), but for only $14, we’re ok with that. It also doesn’t stand up on its own. But I think it would actually be harder for her to maneuver if it did. The wheels don’t roll when she pushes it forward, but they do when she pulls it back. It probably wouldn’t work too well on hard floor, but it glides nicely over the carpet. I would definitely recommend this toy if you’re looking for a cute, highly entertaining, sturdy toddler toy that’s cheep enough you won’t mind outgrowing fairly quickly.

A Toy Any Toddler Wil Love!
I got the Fisher Price Toddler vacuum for my granddaughter. She was super scared of the real vacuum and I thought it might help with that. She loves her little vacuum. It's very friendly with its cute voice and little light up face. After she had played with it a few times, she actually wanted to help vacuum with the real one! She went from a complete death scream when she'd see the vacuum to helping her mom vacuum the house...It's a great little toy any toddler would love!

Good for beginning walkers
This is tiny enough and light enough for my 15 month old granddaughter to push around. . The songs and sounds it plays are not loud enough to be annoying and she loves it! Got it because she always wants to help mommy and daddy push the vacuum cleaner. Seems well-made. I would definitely recommend it if your little one just started walking -it is very manageable and she is on the tiny side.
