Nice little unit. Wiring was indeed easy, but fiddling with other parts to install was not that easy. After the first one I got the hang of it and the second was easier. They are dim, but this is expected of a 6W bulb.

Cheap price for the quality. I brought HX-081000CA. The color is nice warm and soft. The "3000K" is under my suspicion, as the brightness is a little weak but still acceptable. The manufacturer should redesign the mounting strip plate that is screwed to the outlet junction box to fit all mounting situations especially when the plate is 45 degree installed, to avoid letting people who buy it spend time to re-work with the mounting plate to fit the installation.

*UPDATE - Product failed within two months of use. Garbage.* While the light quality is pretty good (a bit yellow for 3000k), even the 6W version is quite bright at night, making it unfortunate that the product does not dim. Amazon description used to note dimming, but language has been updated since my purchase, which is very frustrating. Also, while the lights are inexpensive, they are difficult to install. Mounting to standard j-box and exterior light block requires significant modifications to the light block (these were installed by a master electrician). For me, this increased the overall price significantly. I would not buy them again.

First the "pros". It is a cute light. It isn't too bright, since it's really a sconce style light. Most lighting fixtures in the US have either a round, square, or hex electrical box. This light will not work super-easily with any of the three. Where I wanted to put it had a hex box. I had to drill holes in the electrical box cover to match the light. Then I had to epoxy nuts to back side of the electrical cover. Then I had to make a shim to put under the light to make room for the screws that hold the electrical box cover on. Also, the gasket that's supposed to seal the back of the fixture from water doesn't really work, so I left it out. Installing a light should be easy. This was not.
