So i tried Home Blend at a friend's place for the first time and what immediately struck me was the beautiful aroma of a very high quality coffee waiting for us to be brewed. It tasted smooth and left a long lasting flavor unlike the usual coffee which instantly made me order for a box from Amazon. On receiving the order i was impressed by their packaging. It's an attractive box that functions with a push that slides outward contrary to the regular boxes which makes them even more interesting. How thoughtful of the label to send a personalized Thank You note along with my aromatic box of happiness which consists of drip bags which take away all the hassle involved in preparing your morning caffeine fix. It allows you to enjoy a drip-brewed coffee with no need for any special equipment. All you require is a sachet of Home Blend, your favorite coffee mug and hot water. The process is explained at the back of the box which makes it easier to use. It's been a while since i'm having this coffee and i can tell you i'm obsessed! Nothing beats their taste for your everyday morning coffee. I'm almost done with my current box and the next is on its way!

Abit overpriced. May not satisfy coffee lovers

Like the flavour

It’s a great idea. I’d first seen this style of drip coffee bags in Japan. The taste is reasonable and all that is needed is hot water to get a reasonably good and fresh cup of joe and knowledge and experience with pour over techniques. Now the downsides rant. One bag is sufficient to make about 200ml of drip coffee if standard drip coffee brew ratios are followed. Takes about 2 mins and a few seconds for extraction to complete. But the product makes no mention of either water quantities or the time. So the downside is that one must be familiar with drip coffee making process and brew ratios and bloom time etc. The second downside whilst travelling is that while time can be measured, it’s difficult to estimate the weight of water to be poured for blooming (about twice the weight of coffee in this pouch, which is not mentioned either. It is 11gm for reference). So about 30-30 ml and 45 seconds is needed for the bloom. Rest of the water quantity needed is about 200ml, since about 20 ml is absorbed by the coffee grind. Third and last downside, it could be awkward to fit the filter in shallow cups. In summary it’s possible to get a decent cuppa on the road with this product, provided one is familiar with pour over techniques and is able to make the correct calculations in absence of any instructions.
