Awesome figure he looks just like heatwave he is an awesome rescue bot a great add to any collection

The best use of Bulkhead!
This is by far the best use of the Legacy Bulkhead mold. Heatwave's red is very vibrant, even the yellow paint on the transparent blue pops! Hasbro has improved the joint tightness, and as a result, the figure is way more posable. This does affect the shoulder tabbing mechanism, but you can tab it right back into place once you get the arm into position. This guy is a high-quality bot, nonetheless. His transformation is slightly different than Bulkhead's, and the locking mechanisms work so much better, in my opinion, it is way smoother. I do wish that Hasbro had used the Animated Optimus Prime mold to make him less blocky, but I still highly recommend this figure!

Best/worst usage of the bulkhead mold
This is probably the best usage of the mold, fixing the problems bulkhead had, and it’s pretty fun to mess with. The mold is outdated and doesn’t fit the character. Don’t buy it right now, since there’s way better stuff out now, and wait for it to go on clearance. Still pick this guy up if you get the chance.

Kid themed character upscaled for older collectors and enthusiasts.
I'm not normally a fan of the "Rescue Bots" incarnation of Transformer toys. The first run of them looked cheap and were designed for a much younger audience (which makes sense based on the theme of the series) with much simpler transformations. This run of toys released with the "Age of the Primes" series is much more adult in complexity while still maintaining a visual asthetic that harkens back to the show. A good middle ground I would say.

Box was dented
The figure itself is great but I wish the box was not damaged upon arrival. I like to display the packaging but it was dented.

Someone forgot to work on their shoulders
Besides it being another bulkhead retool instead of animated optimus, it's ok, the shoulders are super tight while the pin for the arm that tabs into the body, isn't as tight, be careful posing it otherwise your heat waves shoulders will come off
