Best night cream
I’ve been using the NIVEA Luminous Even Glow Night Cream for a while now, and I’m honestly impressed with the results! The texture is rich yet lightweight — it absorbs beautifully without feeling greasy. It deeply hydrates my skin overnight, leaving it soft, smooth, and refreshed in the morning. The Thiamidol really helps in fading dark spots and evening out my skin tone, while Hyaluronic Acid keeps my skin plump and glowing. I’ve noticed a visible reduction in dullness and fine lines, and my skin feels more radiant overall. If you’re looking for a night cream that truly works on dark spots and provides deep moisturization, this one is definitely worth trying!

Amazing product
It's simply the best spot-reducing day cream I've found. Great hydration from the Hyaluronic Acid too.

Loved it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love this Nivea Night Cream! This is honestly one of the best creams I’ve used till date! I’ve tried many night creams before, but nothing feels as nourishing and comforting as this one. It gives my skin such a soft, smooth texture in the morning — I literally wake up feeling like a doll! The texture is creamy but not sticky, and it absorbs beautifully without making my skin oily. After using it regularly, I can genuinely see a visible glow and hydration on my face. Even my mom started using it after seeing the results on me, and now she’s a fan too! It suits both of us perfectly, which says a lot since we have different skin types. Thank you, Nivea, for creating such a lovely, effective, and affordable night cream. It’s become an essential part of my nighttime routine — I can’t recommend it enough! 💙

Loved it
I’ve been using the Nivea Luminous Day and Night Cream for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly really happy with how my skin’s been looking. The day cream feels super light and keeps my skin fresh through the day, while the night one is richer and makes my skin feel soft and hydrated in the morning. I’ve noticed my overall tone looks more even, and those little dark spots have definitely started to fade. It’s just been such an easy, no-fuss routine that actually works.

Extremely Poor Formulation for a Nivea product.
Really bad formulation, literally causes pilling and feels like chunks of blob. 1. The "Blob" Mechanism: Starch-Gum Agglomeration. The primary culprit for the "butter blobs" is the interaction between Distarch Phosphate (a modified starch), Xanthan Gum/Carrageenan, and the high-melting-point waxes (Cetyl Palmitate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter). The Failure: Starch is used here to reduce greasiness (a band-aid for the heavy oil phase). However, when water evaporates (60% of the formula), the starch particles do not form a smooth film. Instead, they bind with the sticky gums and the solidifying Shea Butter/Waxes. Result: As you rub, you are rolling up hydrated starch and wax into non-absorbable balls. It is not absorbing; it is congealing on your face. 2. Lipid Phase: Comedogenic & Draggy This uses a "thickener-heavy" approach from the early 2000s.Isopropyl Palmitate (IPP): A cheap, highly comedogenic ester. It spreads fast but feels "dry-oily."Cetyl Palmitate + Cocoglycerides + Shea Butter: These are "structuring agents" solid at room temperature. They create a high-viscosity barrier that traps the active ingredient (Thiamidol) on the skin surface rather than driving it into the stratum corneum. Critique: You have roughly 15-20% lipid phase, mostly composed of solids. This creates a "draggy" rub-out that breaks prematurely into the blobs you hate. 3. Electrolyte Shock Sodium Chloride (Salt) is present. While often used to stabilize rheology, in the presence of Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate (an anionic emulsifier) and certain gums, excess electrolytes can suppress the electric double layer, causing the emulsion droplets to flocculate (clump together) before they even reach your skin. This contributes to the curdled "buttery" appearance. 4. The Active Constraint Isobutylamido Thiazolyl Resorcinol (Thiamidol): This is the gold standard for tyrosinase inhibition (skin lightening). However, it is poorly soluble in water. This formula attempts to dissolve it in the heavy lipid phase, which drastically slows down its release rate. The "blobs" mean the active is likely sitting in the pillings on top of your skin, rendering it 0% effective. Suggestions to the formulator - Add: - Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI), DMI dissolves Thiamidol and drives it through the stratum corneum. Replaces heavy grease. - Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Light Emollient, Extremely fast-spreading, dry-touch oil. Replaces the heavy Shea/IPP. - Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Polymeric Emulsifier, THE FIX. Creates a clear, fresh gel-cream texture. Handles electrolytes and actives perfectly. - Sodium Acrylates Copolymer (and) Lecithin, Co-Emulsifier, Provides a "cool touch" and phospholipid delivery system for the active. - Dimethicone (5 cSt), Silicone, Low viscosity silicone for slip. Prevents soaping (whitening) during application.
