Not pretty: Buy it anyway, Tempest fans!
Let’s face it: The face on this Garth (Tempest) figure is HORRIBLE! It looks like it was modeled on Tenoch Huerta from ‘Wakanda Forever,’ which is nothing like the DC comics hero and former ‘Aqualad’ who we know and love. Strike two: Of COURSE they forgot that his eyes are PURPLE—sheesh! That’s Tempest 101 and key to his origin story. Serious turn off! Everything else about the figure is good quality and the water effects are quite nice. Despite that unexpectedly bad face, I bought this figure as Tempest is my all-time favorite hero. I had something to do with his migration from Aqualad to Tempest and I’m very proud of him—hence, I wanted this long-awaited figure to be GREAT. I so wish that the one time we fans will ever get a luxury figure of our Garth, he was actually as perfect as he should be.

The FIRST Aqualad!
Couldn't resist the figure. McFarlane's not making any DC figures after this year, so we will never get a Garth figure. This was the closest, so I got him to display with my Silver age Aquaman and my custom Mera.

Well-made and brightly painted
This figure was worth every cent. It's a faithful creation and looks just like his comic counterpart. I pre-ordered it before it was released and was excited to receive it.
