Love the open design - good support
I typically wear patellar straps for one of my knees, but occasionally I need more stabilization and support.Problem is I do not like wearing full knee braces, chiefly because I dislike the process of getting them off and on.In the case of this LP SUPPORT 788CA Knee Support Brace, one of its biggest strengths is how easy it is to get this on/off and adjust.More importantly, while on, this remains in place, does provide good support, and is surprisingly comfortable. In order to test the brace, I actually wore it on two different hikes, each was over 3 miles and on both occasions the brace made a significant difference in terms of my comfort, during and after the hike.I also did find the textured pattern inside was cooler than material that sits flat against you skin, so that is a big plus.Based on my experience wearing this, I sincerely have only positive things to say about this brace. It genuinely surpassed my expectations and makes me more likely to wear a fell brace when exercising, instead of a patellar strap alone.Would recommend as a comfortable, effective, and easy to use way to provide your knee more support.

Too small and uncomfortable
While I think the knee brace is constructed well in general, and seems like it would hold up over time, I just can't get it comfortable enough to wear for any length of time. For reference, I'm 6', 195lbs, and my knee measured right at 15". So I'm clearly in the range of the One-Size model, but it really feels too small. I think another 2 inches in overall length, one each on the top and bottom, would help a lot. Also the hole for the knee cap is just a bit too small, so that isn't helping either. As someone else mentioned, the space between the 2 straps isn't quite wide enough to fully fit the single strap, and I have to make that single strap extremely tight so I'm not feeling sharp velcro on my skin. When I bend my knee, that area where the single strap passes the double straps really bunches up behind my knee and is uncomfortable. So while I like the concept, this just isn't going to work for me. Maybe an XL would be better, but I'm guessing overall it would still have the same design concerns.

Good support, but after one use, one of the strap split
After one use and wash, one of the strap started to split between two layers. The binding between two layers of material/fabric needs improvement.

Uncomfortable, and not for use while running
I ordered the regular size (noted as One Size) as the circumference under my patella (knee cap) is 12.5 inches. The donut shape is not comfortable for me, as I feel it could be wider at the opening. That's the problem with these braces, you can find one that fits around your leg, but not at the point of contact. It is also uncomfortable behind the knee. It's supposed to be somewhat of a custom fit due to the adjustable straps, but it just doesn't fit right. The lower strap and material bunches up. It might work better for you.I'm a long distance runner (max miles so far is 27 miles), but there's no way I could run a quarter mile in this brace (product image shows a runner).I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, and knowing how it fits I probably would not purchase with my own cash. Especially at the current price of $27.88 (4-25-2024)

Gives decent support BUT
It's a pain to put on and keep on.It does give you decent support BUT the way they designed it was as if your thigh, your knee and your calf were all the same thickness. It is a very boxy knee brace and my knee area is not boxy at all.IF your knee area is boxy.... This might be a great knee brace for you but for me it's a hard pass.I got it cuz I thought the "massage" feature would be awesome... But I couldn't get past how tight I had to put the straps to try and get to fit around my knee nicely. And after a bit, it was cutting off the circulation in my leg.I just didn't like it. It didn't fit me even though it was supposed to be one size fits all.

LP SUPPORT 788CA Knee Support Brace
I recently purchased the LP SUPPORT 788CA Knee Support Brace, and I’m quite impressed with its features. Here’s what I liked:COOLPRENE X Technology: The thin yet strong material provides excellent support. The dynamic diamond grooves create a massage effect on muscles during movement, while moisture and heat are efficiently managed for superior comfort.Open Patella Design: The donut-shaped patella support ring keeps the patella in place, and the open design ensures proper alignment. I found it comfortable for extended wear during various activities.Adjustable Fit: The hook-and-loop closure and elastic straps allow for a customized, compressive fit. Whether I’m running, biking, or playing basketball, the brace stays securely in place.Endorsed by Athletes: It’s trusted by top athletes, endorsed by PSATS & PBATS.Overall, the LP SUPPORT 788CA Knee Support Brace is a reliable choice for anyone seeking stability, comfort, and pain relief during physical activities. Highly recommended

Tabs Keep It Anchored
Because I do so much walking - albeit slowly - on pavement, my aging knees take quite a beating. And when one of them gets sore, it's hard to work up the desire to get back on the road again. This adjustable knee support brace will be a big help. It's easy to wrap around my knee, and the Velcro tabs keep it firmly in place with no irritation to my skin. Although it's a one-size-fits-all model - and it really does fit quite well - it's probably a little bit too large for me. But it works, and I like it a lot.

Coco’s Conclusion: Supportive but Too Small Around the Kneecap
This knee support brace is supportive around the side with the adjustable Velcro straps. The big problem is around the kneecap. The ring around the kneecap is not removable, and it is too small around the kneecap and is made of what I assume is hard foam. This ends up being uncomfortable and not providing the support needed. I am petite, so it doesn't seem like a size issue.
