Sustain Herbivore (100 g, Apple & Banana)

I just recently had to feed this to my guinea pig as critical care when she was bloated. It truly worked wonders and got her out of a GI stasis. It’s supposed to be 1 part emeraid to 2 parts water, but I mix extra water in as it’s easier to syringe feed a small mammal that way. Would recommend!

My bunny’s adrenal tumor impacts his appetite for pellets and hay so the vet said to syringe feed him, gave me this during the period when Critical Care was unavailable. My bunny, who was losing muscle, is now close to where he was before. He is an extremely picky eater and loves this. I probably couldn’t have forced food 3 times a day for months, so having him happy to eat it is huge. It’s keeping him alive and I’m grateful to have it. When I first open each bag, it smells like apple. If you’re having issues with your herbivore eating, definitely give this a try.

My guinea pig is not fond of his hay which occasionally causes gut issues and this works as an occasional fiber source. He loves it so much I try not to give it to him unless he absolutely needs it because he would turn down his other food for this.

This is the only syringe feed my guinea pigs will actually eat form the bowl themselves! Perfect for long term use as anyone with previously poorly buns or pigs knows it’s very stressful fighting them to syringe feed multiple times a day! Highly recommend. Brought my poorly old lady from 890g up to 940g in less than a week!

Couldn’t have asked for a better product!! My boys both love this. It has helped one of my boys gain a little weight and I have purchased a second bag to help my little man through his surgery. Mixes with cold water really well, I just wish the quantity to give per weight was a bit clearer on the packaging.
