Down To Earth Organic Feather Meal Fertilizer Mix 12-0-0, 5 lb

This feather meal is just what I needed to re-plenish the soil in my landscaping and vegetable gardens. I didn't realize how "empty" the soil was at this house, since it looked great, and I had been adding compost to the soil for years. So much for looks. I took some soil samples and submitted them to a local soil lab, and found out the soil was depleted of nitrogen! I applied this product at the recommended application amount, and within a week all the plants came to life - so much healthier!

Spread it on my garden this yr after having my soil tested. Tilled it under. My GSD were licking it off the ground so it must be good!

My plants just loved this. Smell is what is expected for fertilizer. So place up the fly traps.

Been using this fertilizer for years. Decided to buy the big bag this year to save a little money on a "unit cost per weight" basis. Works just as well as the same product in the 5 lbs box. Smells terrible. Not much else to say. If you need organic nitrogen fertilizer and nothing else, this is the product you want.

Really turned my raised beds around after I did a soil test and found them to be nitrogen deficient. A great organic option. Don’t just add this to your soil willy-nilly though, it’s a specific treatment for a specific issue. For that, it is excellent.

Excellent product! Easy to hand sprinkle around plant perimeter and onto soil. Note: product that lands on plant leaves will not dissolve/wash away...which is a good indication of the durability in the soil. Does an AMAZING job of keeping away the deer for weeks on end - my hostas, tulips, and lily blooms are all still here in a neighborhood with lots of roaming deer and nearby woods!
