Works as expected
I used this to patch 2 pairs of my favorite jeans giving them that "ripped jeans" look that cost a couple hundred dollars at designer shops. This adhesive works well but it must be given time to dry/cure. I applied some pressure to the materials on a flat, hard surface (I put a couple heavy books and a pale on it). After about 12 hours the seal was tight! This adhesive works well. Just follow the instructions (wash and dry your materials first and do not use dryer sheets because the oil from the dryer sheets in your clothes will interfere with the adhesive's ability to bond tightly). Gained weight during COVID lockdown so now the jeans don't fit. But thanks to this product they look amazing though!! The only thing I don't like about this item is that it is very hard to squeeze it out of the bottle after the first use.

has extended the life of my bathing suit by 10x
I swim quite a bit for exercise and i have settled on a specific suit because it fits me best. the problem with the suit is that it falls appart at the seams. The fabric fusion product has extended the life of my bathing suits by a factor of 10.... it's saved me quite a bit of money in new suits.

Cracked in between nozzle and bottle
Great fabric glue, the glue does NOT come off in wash with multiple washes. Spot test, some fabrics don't work. Tried this to hem pant legs, didn't work. It cracked over time, I'm not sure how..between the nozzle and the bottle so I have to scoop it out. It's a mess...

Perfect for couch repairs
I bought this as a part of my couch makeover. We are a two person, two dog house, so after the first couple years our once new couch was showing major signs of wear. Lumpy sparse back cushions, a noticeable saggy void in the middle of the seat, and rips in the skirt after raising two puppies. I filled the back cushions and throw pillows with poly fill, firmed up the seat cushions with quilt batting, and fixed the ripped skirt with this permanent fabric glue. Added a couple new throw pillows, it's almost like having a new couch all over again! I used up all of the quilt batting, but I have plenty of poly fill and glue for future touch ups. I almost debated getting a new couch, but so glad I didn't waste the money! Our couch may not be a perfect, but it's a major improvement and much more comfortable.

Did not work for me
After reading reviews of similar products and looking for a permanent glue with flexibility I unfortunately chose this product. I was attempting to glue down the excess fabric (1/4 to 3/8 inches) on an inside seam of upholstery material for the dining room chair backs I was recovering. The original material that I was replacing because it was torn had the internal parts of its seams glued down with a still sticky glue that was 19 years old. I guessed the reason it was glued was to prevent lumps along the seam on the very top of the chair back where the seam was visible and followed a slightly wavy contour. I attempted to copy the procedure using this permanent glue. The glue took hours to dry, I had to place weights on the material to keep the stiff upholstery fabric from standing up in the air instead of staying stuck down. The end result was somewhat flexible but way too stiff to follow the contours of the top of the chair back. I ended up with one of four chair backs looking weird over 3 or 4 inches because of the glue. The other three backs look fine because I didn't use the glue. While this product may work for other applications it did not work for Sunbrella type upholstery material I was using. Also, it does not seem to be a product that is sticky immediately like contact cement would be. It may work if you were gluing something that could just sit there and dry if not needed to be clamped but that is not what I was going for. The instructions said to use a thin bead which I tried and even tried using a small clamp but even after it dried it wasn't strong enough to hold the stiff material that was being folded over. Using more of it took longer to dry and made it less flexible. Maybe it would work on something like T-shirt material or the like.

DOES NOT WORK- RUINS FABRIC!
I spent a long time researching different fabric glues and reading reviews- should have believed the negative ones about this glue! The bottle arrived with the tip glued shut, and I had to cut the tip to open it (I should have stopped there!) I followed the instructions exactly, tried the glue on fabric to fabric (polyester), as well as an appliqué to fabric (cotton). The adhesive did not stick on either, at all, and it left greasy stains on the fabric- so now I'm worse off than before I started this project. Thank goodness for Amazon's wonderful refund policy, at least I got my money back (but not for the ruined items!)

It saved my nice jacket.
Strong adhesion after it is completely dry. The application is a little challenging for anyone who has never used it before, so have some practice before you do the actual glueing. I used it for my plastic reflexive logo on my jacket, because it was partially peeling off after a few washes, so I wanted to glue it back before it was too late. The adhesive dried in a few hours and the logo was as good as new. It is still on my jacket strong even after 2 washes, so it does well for its purpose.
