I am taking a star off for the advertising. The "New Stand Up" advertising is hilarious. This annoyed me because of the pictures showing the corners sticking out and the implication that the bottom of the bag was actually flat. I didn't want that. I wanted the bags I had been buying for years. But I couldn't find the "old" style so I bought these. Turns out these are EXACTLY like the ones I have been buying for years. If you fiddle with the bottom corners, you can make them look like the picture and I suppose they will stand depending on what you are putting in them and how you are putting it in. So... quart size ziploc bags with the double-zipper. They are thicker than the "generic" brands I have tried with better designed zippers but I haven't tried all the "generic" brands so I really don't know. (If you want thicker bags, get the "freezer" not the "storage" bags.) I know these will last a couple hand washes to be reused so I think the value is good enough. I think these are one of those things that seem outrageously expensive (like tissues) but if you really think about it, they really aren't that expensive.
