I finally decided it was time to replace my Kindle Paperwhite with a newer version. But I also know that I can be tough on electronic devices, so I made sure that I had my new Kindle in a cover immediately. This case is not leather, but at the $13 I paid for it, I would not have expected it to be. I ordered the "vintage brown" color, and have been using it now for 3 months. It has held up very well, is very durable, and it looks nice. There are few specific features that made me choose this case: I wanted the rigid plastic that the Kindle would snap into, I wanted a hand strap to make it easier to hold the Kindle, and I wanted magnets in the cover. After verifying the Kindle version you have, the plastic that holds the kindle keeps the device from moving around, and holds it firmly in place. The hand strap provides a little bit of relief when you've been holding it for a while (or while reading in bed like I do). I was surprised how much I liked the kickstand, which wasn't really something I was looking for. The smart cover closes solidly and also holds the cover against the back of the device very well while reading. I have noticed that the magnets do not always turn off the Kindle when you close the cover, but if you close it firmly, you can see the device turn off. All in all, I'm very happy with the choice, and will order from CoBak again.

This Kindle case is perfection. I bought it not too long after I bought a stand for my Kindle. I like the stand a lot, the problem with the stand though, is that it’s not connected to the Kindle and so I forgot to bring the stand with me to work one day and really missed having the stand. The case fits perfectly on my Kindle. It’s great how when you open the cover of the case, it wakes up the Kindle, and when you close the cover, it puts the Kindle in standby. The stand holds the Kindle up in a good position for reading and the grip on the back is nice for just holding the Kindle. Without the grip, trying to hold the Kindle, I would frequently end up touching the edges and inadvertently turn the page. I also believe there is a card slot on the stand, but I’m not certain that the slot is for that. The stand, and grip have magnets so they return into their places when not using, and the cover of the case stays closed magnetically. The leather is really soft, yet seems like it will protect it well and hold up over time. The sage color I got is pretty and matches the backing that my Kindle came in. The sage color also happened to be on a sale, and ended up costing less than the other colors.

I'm very impressed with this case. I wasn't expecting much considering the sale price on Prime Day, but it really hits the mark square on. The overall build quality is very good. It holds my Kindle securely, and the material has a nice feel to it. The overall design is excellent: it allows me to hold the Kindle with the strap, or prop it up on my desk. Opening the cover automatically turns the Kindle on; closing it shuts down the Kindle. An outstanding value for the price -- five stars.

I love and use this Kindle case all the time. First of all, it looks great and the magnet holds the cover in place and doesn't slip. I love both the kickstand and hand strap. Both well built and handy.

Great quality case. It looks great and feels great in the hand. My only complaint is that the hand strap is far to the left, so its best if you like to hold it with your left hand. Feels very secure and there is no way you could drop it while using the strap. Haven't used the stand yet but I love that I have that option available if I ever want to prop it up and read from a surface. Overall I recommend this case especially for the price.

Super happy with this. I was overwhelmed by the selection of cases but went with this one and it did not disappoint. It fits my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly and is comfortable to hold when reading. It has an elastic strap on the back so if you read in bed holding it up it doesn’t fall on your face (always a bonus). It can also be propped if you want to set it down (would be perfect for setting on the little tray when reading on a plane, if I had anywhere to go). This color was on sale so I anticipated it being ugly, but I actually really like it and think it’s pretty. If someone steals my Kindle, I’m definitely buying this case again. High quality, highly recommend.

This is a super nice case. The feel in the hand is nice with enough traction so it doesn't feel too slippery, yet smooth enough to slide easily into pockets and purses. Really like the fold out stand and hand grip. Both seem sturdy enough without adding too much bulk. It covers and protects the kindle well. Its easy to remove the kindle if needed and the port/power access is good. Does not feel cheap or flimsy. The magnet on the fold back holds the case firm enough and the open to wake is responsive. I picked the reading garden "Vintage Peony" flowers to complement my new rasberry kindle. The colors are vibrant and the flowers beautiful! I have had other kindles and cases. This case is a keeper and a good value.

Loving the case. Perfect fit for the newest Kindle edition 2024. Kickstand and card holder available. Solid texture that seems sturdy.
