Love these sunglasses. Excellent design and craftmanship.
Can't speak highly enough of these sunglasses. I get ocular migraines and have found that glare off auto glass and snow is a trigger (I live at high altitude). So sunglasses are a must for me, but cheap ones make me motion sick due to the optical distortion. I went on the hunt for "me" sunglasses that were right for my narrow face and eye spacing and look darned good. I tried Rayban aviators before these. They were okay, but there was too much reflection on the back side of the lenses and I found being able to see unimportant objects--including my own eyes--distracting. They also tended to fall off my face. I always found myself wishing I could afford to try those Randolphs I discovered just after purchasing the Raybans. Well, recently, I lost them and finally sprung for a nice birthday gift for myself. I'm so glad that I did. Thanks partially to 3 width choices, these have very little optical distortion as well as an effective anti-glare coating on the back of the lenses. They also are incredibly well made and timeless in their design. I wasn't originally a huge fan of the bayonet style arms, but after using them, I totally get it. They're super comfortable and they feel just as secure as standard arms. You can also easily slip them into a motorcycle helmet (or flight helmet if that's your thing). I can't imagine ever wanting anything else. I've found my 'me' glasses.

One of a kind quality and style
Made in the USA! High quality materials, incredible lenses. I suggest the polarized option. You only get one set of eyes. Very unique style with matte frames and cobalt colored lenses. These sunglasses are well worth the money. Customer service at Randolph Engineering is also very helpful, if needed.

Exceptional sunglasses
Like all the reviews say, these glasses are superb. The glass is the clearest I've ever seen. I've had glasses from RayBan, Oakley, Maui Jim, and Serengeti, but the glass in these Randolphs is noticeably better. I have an average sized face and the frame fits me perfectly. The stems slide effortlessly under my headset cups and are extremely comfortable. These are expensive sunglasses, but they carry zero compromises. I'm a fan.

Holding up well, glass lenses not 100% practical
Had these for over 2 years now and they are generally holding up well. The frames are durable but can bend easily if dropped the wrong way, sat on, etc. I bent them twice since I use these things all the time everywhere. The first time I was able to bend them back myself. The second time I bent up the bridge pretty bad and had to send them in for a $20 tune-up. They came back good as new. These definitely are not throwaway glasses. I have the polarized glass lenses which are hard to find in any glasses let alone American-made ones. The sun protection and clarity are great and I prefer them to anything else I've used especially while driving. Dropped the glasses lenses down into concrete and rocks and only have small scratches, durability is pretty good. Unfortunately the glass lenses do have a big trade-off - weight. I heard this before and thought of it more as a comfort issue, but that is not really the problem. The problem is that they REALLY want to fall off of your head when given the opportunity. For that reason these are really annoying to use while doing any kind of work or just tilting your head too much.

Great visual clarity but very heavy
These shades are excellent for a quick trip not for entire day The visual clarity is stunning as good as my ray The cobalt blue looks really good The biggest flipside is the weight of the shades which leave the marks on the nose after using for few hours

Classic Aviator Glasses
If you need great glasses in a classic aviator style then these are the glasses you need to buy. Glasses are well made and appear to be very sturdy. The fit perfectly on my face and the quality of the lens is amazing. I would recommend these if you want great classic aviator glasses from an American company.

I own Oakley, RayBan, Maui Jim and other good brands but these are the very best. Lenses are clear, build quality outstanding. I purchased non polarized as I use them golfing and I prefer a non polarized lens for that activity
