Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Verizon 4G LTE Smartwatch SM-R765V (Renewed)

Love this watch, wish the battery lasted longer though.

So I bought my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier (Renewed) 2 months ago. At first the watch worked like a brand new watch now after 2 months the battery life will not last a day. I pull off the charger in the morning and by 6pm it goes into low power mode and by 9pm it has shut down. I would have expected the watch to have lasted a year. I am now looking for a new watch already. What a disappointment.

I bought the gear 3 about a year before the galaxy watch came out..(around time the s9 plus dropped ..that's the phone I currently use), ...and I honestly dont feel like I missed much..It has most the same features for a couple hundred dollars less....if i.play with all day the battery will manage to make it threw my 8 hour work day..if I use it casually it makes it til bedtime..aesthetically the software is nice especially with the new recent update..it tends to get a little hacky when it's not connected to the phone..but most of the time it's pretty fluent..

This watch is pretty amazing. I could totally feel that it’s a Samsung even if I was concerned about getting “Renewed” products. The connectivity it’s instantaneous, the display it’s impeccable and the details are like new. The only point is that I feel that the battery is not more than 85% or 80% so it may not keep ON all the day long. The price/quality it’s the best.

The one thing I dislike is some of the add ons are really slow to load...I feel they need an update across the board for this watch...specifically the Spotify app for the watch...sometimes it freezes in standalone or remote mode and won't switch back and forth without restarting the watch. 5/4/2021 Update with video of my watch... I am a painter/refinshing and do dishwashing also. I am very happy with how this watch holds up...banged it painted it soaked it, even good in the shower! One thing though, the 30 minute time limit is real! My speaker started sounding funny after soaking it for more than that.....when it dried out it was fine and still is...no trouble with it....one thing though Bixby doesn't work well on it..not a big concern though 5/28/2021 Watch is still in mint condition besides the paint on it. Still banging on it, soaking it and getting paint all over it....... just looked it over and there are only a couple tiny scratches on the bezel, none on the screen! Granted I have a tempered glass protector on it, still no scratches.... If you live a ruff life with your hands this is the watch for you!! Jan 6 2022. Just posted new picks...from the day I got it 1 year ago today and today.. still works great and I have beaten the hell out of it, soaked, painted, walked it on stuff and have only replaced 1 screen protector so far(tempered glass). One thing I do recommend is restarting it occasionally because it does get slower with responding to touch controls

Watch was shipped fast and was in beautiful condition. Looked totally brand new. Was able to get it activated on my Verizon plan with no problems. I have a Galaxy S2 so this is an upgrade. It works very well. Battery life seems to be good. Just heard there is a software update to Tizen 4.0 in the next couple weeks which will bring it to the same version as the new Galaxy Watch so I am excited to see that. It sounds like that will help the battery life last even longer and give the watch even more capabilities. Love my Gear watches!

Battery life was a concern, but it's excellent as long as you don't burn it up streaming Spotify all day. Fit and finish were good. Looked like new but the bezel had some play. It made a light tapping sound when you touched it. Didn't come with an official band, but it works fine. Mine included all official Samsung charging gear. I reached out to the seller about a few things and they were very helpful.

Right out of the box there was someones hair stuck in between the wristban and the watch. The rotating bezel was scratched & hard to rotate. After charging the watch from completely dead it wouldn't turn on unless it was on the charging craddle and if I took it off the charger it would immediately shut off. After multiple attempts I was finally able to complete a factory reset while it was on the charger without it overheating. After 10+ attempts to complete a software update( again on the charger to keep it from shutting off) I gave up and tirelessly called 2 different numbers for "Cellworks Unlimited" during business hours without any success of getting a human to pick up the phone. What a waste of time.
