AMAZING!!
I have oddly shaped feet (wide forefoot, narrow heel) and finally found a pair of Technica's that I've managed to get broken in. Except I get wicked shin-bang. I just dealt with it because at worst I would ski for 2 or 3 days, get a massive bruise, but then not have a chance to ski again for a several weeks. Thanks to a relocation, I can now ski multiple times a week, and the shin-bang was killing the joy. This was the final stop before a boot-fitter for new boots. Holy moly do these things work! At first I was skeptical, they are so thin and seemingly pointless, but I figured I might as well try them. I already had a good bruise going on both shins the first I tried them. I barely felt a thing that day. Two days later, I used them again, and nothing, no pain, no bruise, no irritation. These are god-send, they completely fix my boots and eliminated the shin-bang. Not sure how they work, but they too and they are absolutely worth way more than I paid for them.

Saved my shins so I can keep skiing!
Third season with these and its made all the difference. I was about to throw the towel in on my skiing days due to the shin pain and then I found these and now zero pain in my shins! I’m writing this review because I’m about to order another set because my son mentioned he’s starting to feel the shin pain after our last 3 day trip and I said do I have the solution for you on our next trip. I forgot I never left a review so I’m following up after searching for my past order. I have worn these inside and outside the sock and they works all the same for me. All I care about is no shin pain and an enjoyable ski trip!

Does the job well, needs a tweak
I was getting shin bites from a seam in the liner. The SkiShins padded just enough to prevent the bites. Easy to use. Doesn't get soaked from sweat. Maintains thickness after multiple days. Stays in position. Only issue was the straight edges leave a crease on your skin by the end of the day. Would be better if they had a rounded edge.

Great product, fixed my issues
For the past 3 season I’ve had massive shin and calf pain from landing backseat, and dropping cliffs. I got to the point where I was having crazy amounts of pain and couldn’t take it anymore so I looked for other options. I found these shin guards and I bought two pairs because I was already so injured. The first day was noticeably different and reduced the pain to about a half. But most importantly, they let my shins heal throughout the day and prevented me from further damaging myself. After about two weeks of using the doubled up guards. I have completely eliminated my shin pain and I had the best pain free ski day ever. I’m very satisfied with this product and am happy that they let me enjoy the fantastic sport again.

100% Ineffective
Thin. Ineffective. Could just buy a sheet of “foam paper” and have the same thing.

Uncertain
I purchased a new pair of boots from the internet, without trying them on first. I had the worst shin splints I've ever experienced. After researching different options, I thought I'd give these a try. I think they could work... and may be useful in my quiver, in a pinch, but I personally didn't get a ton of relief and didn't enjoy the idea of relying on these to improve my boot comfort. I believe I had better success by heat moulding my boots and breaking them in through shorter ski sessions.

A must have
I wore these snow skiing this year and they were a life saver. Seriously, I’ll buy it for my whole family next year. They were comfortable, easy to put on. I put on between a pair of leggings and my ski socks.

Works enough for a couple of hours. But didn’t test in full days.
