UKayedCeiling Rose Pendant Kit

I broke two light fittings in the same month just by changing a light bulb - the reason being, the bayonet fittings inside the light fittings were both made of plastic. This particular Ceiling Rose Pendant has an interior bayonet fitting made of metal and therefore is much better for its purpose.My knowledge of electrics is limited to Blue=Neutral Brown=Live so I thought I might have to call in an electrician to change the fitting, but fortunately this new bayonet fitting was easily separated from its housing and attached to the old ceiling pendant. Job done in a jiffy by a non-technical person for a couple of quid. Very pleased.

The part which screws to the ceiling has a hole in it through which the wires from the house wiring pass, but the hole would not line up properly with the wires, so i had to force the wires through somewhat. It`s not a big problem, but if the hole had been just a little bit bigger, then there would have been no difficulty at all. It is as if the designers think that every ceiling in every house is exactly the same. But they are not, are they, as ceilings don`t come out of factories?

The product turned up very swiftly and works very well ! although i nearly had a problem with the small screws for the wiring as they were very tight ! all in all a good product that is miles cheaper then any where alse !

It arrived very quickly and was well packaged. For the price my husband tells me that this is a good quality item and was a breeze to fit. Would buy again from this company.

Although these are a good price this is reflected in the build quality.The first one i put up i couldn't get it to work until i undid the bayonet fitting and found the neutral wire wasn't connected.They do the job but could be better.

Yep, good product. Does exactly what it says on the tin and therefore, cannot think of anything else useful to say.

I really hadn't expected the fitting to be such good quality, but at the price it was worth giving it a try.Only two wires to connect.Cable is about 6 inches long which is ideal for me.Very pleased with purchase. Will use this seller again!

What can you say about a Ceiling rose and pendant, it's fine, does the job it's made to do
