I purchased this device back mid-April 2025. Foolishly waited until after the return period before trying to install in my truck. The first thing I discovered was the QR code for install process was missing, there was no instruction manual. No one to contact for assistance. Product reported as not available. Amazon support unhelpful. Turn to the internet.Plugged in to vehicle and discovered it was already configured to someone else phone (Hi Zack - you’re probably laughing if you’re reading this), internet / BT configuration, etc. They sold me a used device as new. Kind of false advertisement, but, sure, okay, assumption that was unintentional. I just need to reset the device to factory defaults and be good to go. Nope. Cannot access the reset button in settings as the device is configured for 16x9 and does not fully display the screen. Scrolling is intermittent and will sort of scroll down but then when lift finger it moves back up. Wash rinse repeat until the menu scrolls down. I can get it to almost show the reset button option. But never quite get there.Okay. Not giving up. What next? Connect to a monitor via HDMI cable, connect a mouse, and then scroll down and reset. Again, nope. The settings, options, and layout is completely different with only four options under settings. Fine, maybe a software update will fix this. Connected it to wireless and check for update. Fails. Connect to hotspot. Fails.Final ditch to try and make it somewhat worth the effort. Try to use as is and when connect to wireless and try to use Netflix, YouTube. FAIL…FAIL…FAIL.I have heard stories about Amazon and resellers just reshipping returned products as new products. Never believed it until now. Then Amazon is unable/unwilling to provide support for this device because it is no longer available. They got my money, they don’t care. Way to go Amazon. VERY VERY disappointing.
