It worked as mentioned.. my dark spots on my face got lighter than before

I have two dark areas that I have been hoping to lighten, one on my face and a second in a less noticeable area that resulted from a surgery. Initially a dermatologist went after my facial pigmentation with their favorite liquid nitrogen spray gun. That helped, but did not eliminate the pigmentation. So I have been using a variety of skincare products, including this, a Vitamin C serum, a turmeric/kojic acid soap, and also daily application of sunscreen. This is a white cream that spreads easily, dries reasonably quickly, and is not tacky or oily. I have used it for over a month now, and I do think it is helping to slowly lighten my dark spots. But the key word is “slowly.” Trying to lighten dark spots requires patience and reasonable expectations. Please understand, however, that my facial pigmentation had been “pre-lightened” by a dermatologist, so I can’t comment on what might happen if you were to try this product on a heavily pigmented area of skin.
