Brightech Helix - Modern LED Floor Lamp

When I ordered this light, I was skeptical. I didn't think a light source that looked like a stick would be sufficient lighting for my room. I was even more convinced when I saw it. To me, it looked even less able to do the job than I originally thought. Since I had ordered the item, I figured I may as well put it together and turn it on. Good decision! The assembly took less than five minutes, made longer when I dropped one of the screws and had difficulty finding it. Once I had, I plugged it in. Wow! I didn't have to go to the highest setting in order to more than adequately cover my 14 foot by 20 foot living room. At the highest setting, it is almost too bright. It's a big room, and if I use this as my primary light - and from now on I will - I can get by at the mid setting. The light plugs into my outlet and comes on when I flip the wall switch. It remembers my last setting. I read a couple of reviews from others who claimed problems with this function. Just to be sure, I turned it on and off a few times. Never had a problem - it remembered the setting each time. I even ran through the three different intensities and turned the wall switch on and off. The light came on to the correct setting. I'm extremely impressed with this light. I'm ordering a second light soon for another room. Why not? The price is good, the lighting is excellent, and this light looks incredible. I would give it 6 stars if that rating was allowed. I love it!

I think it's too cool, My place is kind of small and I had a dark spot, this fits perfectly and it's got a three-way floor dimmer which is perfect, it was easy to assemble and sturdy 🙂

It’s a great height and gives off just the right amount of light. I love it’s modern sleek look. The foot touch control works great as I never need to bend down to turn in the lamp. It’s perfect in our living room.

It looks good, and adds to any room. Great for backlighting behind a television. The downsides are the price (a bit high imho), the base is light and very small, so it isn’t super stable on carpet. And my big complaint is the power switch. It doesn’t stay on if you use it with a switched outlet. For the cost it should be able to be used with a switched power outlet. It can’t be that hard to have a switch that remembers that position it’s in.

I needed a light in my living room to brighten it up, this did the trick. Not only do I get my choice of brightness, but it is a beautiful addition to my home! I have a very eclectic design in my living room and this lamp fits right in. It is beautiful turned off and more so turned on! It has a dimmer switch it feels sturdy, and my husband put it together in minutes. If you want something to spruce up a room, and offer a low light or a bright light this is it ! I highly recommend it. Stunning!

The picture makes it look crooked which it isn’t. To put it together it’s only two screws put into the base. It’s sturdy. The light has three settings. It is very bright on the highest, almost uncomfortably so. I use the lowest the most. I like how modern and thin it is and you can move it around to where you want the light. Because it twists it is hard to get the light to exactly where you need it to shine but you just have adjust it. It would be nice if it had a swivel at the base for this. I asked how long these would last since there isn’t a “bulb” to change and they told me 20-30 years . Wow, that’s a long time I hope it holds up cause the light looks awesome.

So this is amazing, I bought three and planned on syncing them. That works well. My only qualm (which was a big enough grievance for me to return these) is that if you turn them off and on, it is hit or miss. It may turn on into RGB mode, it may turn to a static light, it may turn on as white light. Since I had three of them, they would desync violently. If youre buying JUST ONE, this is amazing.

The lamp was beyond my expectations! Very bright for its narrow frame. And it was very easy (even for Me) to assemble. I just love it, and it looks like a European design at a very reasonable price for its beauty.
