Good, sturdy product. Easy to clean and maintain. It is still very new and I haven't worked it for long, so I cannot comment on the long term functionality. Yet it worked perfectly for the times that I used it. The grinding was fast and to requirement. The size is also very comfortable. It doesn't take up much space on the kitchen counter. Although the price was a bit on the higher side, the quality of the product makes it worthwhile. The only surprising bit was that it was delivered without any extra packaging with only the basic product box. Glad it arrived safely without damage.

It is very inferior to its previous iteration. This one cannot grind spices to a fine powder. Its previous avatar had a smaller jar. It used to grind spices to a fine powder. This newer model has a bigger jar (a wrong design decision), blunt blade and a lot of place for the spices to fly out of the way of the blade. Additionally, the locking mechanism of the bowl is insecure, posing safety issues. All in all a very disappointining item that completley undid all its previous plus points. I absolutely do not recommend it. I bought this piece after my older one lost its gasket (rubber seal). The previous iteration was a gem of a piece. Served me without issues for more that 6 years of regular heavy use. Regret my byuing decision.

I used this workhorse nearly every day for over eight years before it finally passed on. I just ordered another one. Seeds, nuts, coffee beans, spices — it gets a lot of use. In this era of cheaply made devices, eight years is a very long lifespan! The motor is obviously powerful and well built.

UPDATED AGAIN The grinder has been repaired by the company in warranty, and the repair was carried out at my home. I have increased the rating by one point for good customer service, but the issue still remains that the motor burnt out within three months, and this reflects badly on product quality. UPDATED The grinder has stopped working in three months. It is very surprising and reflects badly on product quality. ORIGINAL REVIEW First the cons. It has been my experience that spice grinders with fixed jars are more durable because the blade is directly connected to the motor. The grinders with removable jars have a plastic gear where the removable jar attaches to the motor, and this plastic blade usually breaks while grinding. That is how my last grinder broke. This grinder has a removable jar and I have doubts about its durability. On the other hand, a grinder with a removable jar is easier to clean. The pros of this machine are that the blade is very sharp and I had no trouble grinding cinnamon, pomegranate seeds, cardamom, and black pepper. It is very difficult to grind pomegranate seeds because they are damp, but this machine ground them easily. The jar is removable and easy to clean. The grinder has a button that has to be kept pressed while grinding. The jar is slightly small, but that is better as you can grind small amounts of spice very easily and evenly. Generally, in larger jars, it is difficult to grind a smaller amount evenly.
