BERTUCCI Black Quartz Analog Men's Watch 12074

An analog watch is a personal item. This watch is not too big but large enough to read easily, I like it for that. I have had this watch for two weeks and it has kept time within a couple of seconds of my atomic clocks. The second had sweeps to the second marks on the dial precisely. The minute had can easily be set so that it lines up at the minute when the second had sweeps to 12. It doesn't have a date or day function and that is the way I wanted it. At the end of a 30 day month I don't have to mess with my watch. The designers at Bertucci have spent a lot of time making their idea of the perfect analog watch and it shows. The hands glow enough that you can read the time all night. The time adjustment knob is at 4 o'clock rather than the standard 3 o'clock position making it more comfortable on your wrist. There are not watch pins. There are solid bars in the case for the band to slip under. I purchased one of the leather bands for this watch. Changing the watch band was very easy. The solid bars are very strong, much stronger than watch pins. This watch appears to be rugged and not too heavy or bulky. A very well designed watch that is ideal for some people.

This is a good looking watch, and purports to be very rugged with top materials My version featured a five year battery. After less than one year, while we were traveling and needed the correct time, it started losing 10 minutes per day! Could have become a big problem but fortunately did not. As the vendor couldn't help me due to no longer under warranty, my only option was to use Bertuccis's send-in battery-changing service, which will do a diagnostic, is reasonably priced and if it works as intended would be a good service, but see below. It took a long time to get the watch back and I just wonder if more was wrong than the battery needing replacing - which in any case shouldn't happen so soon. Everything looked OK until I went in a swimming pool. This I have done with no problem in the past, but now, after the repair, I noted that the inner side of the glass had fogged up! And the crown was firmly tightened up, of course. So can't trust if for travel and can't trust it for swimming - and now with moisture inside can't trust it at all. Nor do I feel like getting a replacement after this. As I said looks good though.

Watch comfort and function are stellar. Tritium hands would have been nicer, but glow is good enough thus far. Not sure of the hardness factor of the titanium, but it is def not as hard as my wedding ring... scratches will show, but add to it's character. For the price, it is an excellent field watch.

Watch arrived on time - great service from Amazon! Fits comfortably on my wrist, not heavy at all. Case diameter is 40mm. Roman numerals can be easily read, luminescence is ok for this type of watch (this is not a G-Shock after all). Has a very nice appearance for an everyday watch. If you want to upgrade the look there are many nice Nato straps available from Amazon. I changed the strap that came with this watch because it was too stiff. Watch keeps good time and the price of this very nice watch was just right for me - not expensive but not a cheap watch at all. Hooray for Bertucci. They really know how to make a very good product. I wanted to purchase two other models of Bertucci watches but they were both sold out on Amazon and Bertucci web site. It speaks for the quality of their watches.

The best watch I have owned and I have owned everything from a Timex to a Rolex. A great basic simple watch that does what a watch is supposed to do - TELL TIME. Classic, simple style with a basic easy to read dial. The titanium case is strong and lightweight but solid and sized perfectly at 40mm .Combined with a comfortable and secure Nato-style nylon strap, the watch is a joy to wear, making it the perfect everyday beater watch. The Swiss quartz movement is very accurate - mine typically gains only 8 seconds per month. This durable, quality-crafted timepiece is an outstanding value!

I received the A-2T watch with the titanium metal color case. I am used to 38-40mm watches and this is just the right size and thickness for comfort and good looks. I really like to wear watches that emulate the type of watches they stormed the beaches of Normandy wearing. I usually wear indiglo watches and was keen to be able to read this at night - no problem there - these hands and markings are extremely bright and effective. The band seems to be very good quality and is feeling and looking good so far. The offset screw-on bezel is a really nice feature and I love it. I am not a watch collector or high end watch buyer but this is definitely a lot of value for the price.

It doesnt work and It arrived all scratched up (even where you open the caseback) and it says 100m of water resistance, and it should have been 200m. I'm guessing the great price is due to it being very old stock from a previous generation of these watches. I'm going to change its battery and see if thats the problem, but if it isnt... then I'm extremely dissapointed. I would return it, but I brought it to Guatemala, and therefore taking it back to the US is very difficult for me at the moment. Do not recommend to buy Bertucci watches from this seller.

I love all the features on this watch. Then one day, I took my bicycle for a ride down a rough road and when I got back, I noticed the watch had lost two seconds. I tapped the side of it hard with my finger and the second hand seemed to hesitate. I hit it a few more times and it lost several more seconds. Mine is not shock proof, although it keeps very good time if it doesn’t suffer a hard bump. I like the watch and decided to keep it and just understand that mine has this problem. I wrote the company and informed them of my experience, but never received an answer.

It's been my daily driver watch for about a month and so far, so good. Movement is nice and durable, and keeps the correct time without any jamming. I set the time around 40days ago, and haven't had to adjust it since. The titanium case is nice and light, but is more prone to scratches than stainless steel. Be wary if you bang your watch around. The crystal looks great and has no blemishes so far. Nato strap is nice and rugged, and is a good length. The black nylon strap contrasts really nicely with the titanium. Overall the watch looks great, and is quite durable(apart from the titanium showing minor scratches). I do wish the dial was a bit bigger but even at the current size its a great looking field watch.
