This product definitely works. As soon as I got it, I used it on my 3 yr old son. When he was ready to go to sleep, he put his thumb in his mouth and immediately gagged. He did not like the taste. After that he has been scared and has stayed away from putting his thumb in his mouth. It definitely helped us kick his habit.

My 3 year old has gotten into a bad habit of fingernail biting lately and we needed something that was going to kick the habit real fast and make a lasting impression. This stuff is THE BEST. We call it “Dino nails” because of the packaging, which makes it easier to get us to get our son to agree to them. The taste is awful, I even tested it on myself first. But it’s not toxic tasting. And it can go away after a little while so they aren’t traumatized. But it definitely stopped him from putting his fingers in his mouth!

It made my daughter sick and the taste stays in your mouth almost all day. It also didn’t stop my daughter from sucking her thumb it just made her puke every time she did

This did not work for my toddler. Look, it tastes absolutely awful (obviously tried it myself) it doesnt have any nasty chemicals as per advertising plenty of people have found success but this just didnt work for our kid so knocking off two stars

My child started the bad habit of sucking on their fingers. No matter what I did, they refused to stop and would just continue the bad behavior. This product works like a charm. They no longer suck their finger while it is applied. The only downside is the more they suck their fingers, the quicker the product wears off. So just apply it regularly. Would recommend!

Very effective and extremely deterring when it comes to nail, biting in or some sucking, however we warn it may cause your child to throw up the first week or two. As the taste is that bad.

It works for my 10 year old thumb sucker. We have to reapply it in the morning. Works great!!!

I bought for my kids and they worked! But once’s it wore off or washed off didn’t have anymore effect. While the polish was on both kids complain of really bad taste from biting nails

Why is this stuff not working on my toddler. she starts sucking her 2 fingers immediately after putting on liquid . Trust me it tastes horrible (as it should be)

It doesn’t work my daughter didn’t like it at first and would hold saliva in her mouth because she didn’t like the taste. Then after a while she got use to the taste and continued to suck her thumb. I really thought it was working to begin with. After a week the results were clear.

My daughter who is 2.5yrs has always been a thumb sucker. We tried a couple of things by explaining to her and using bandaids. She has the understanding but because it was habitual it was difficult to break. When we got this product we told her we were going to “paint her nails” which she was excited about and made a game to “shake it off” to dry. First time she put her thumb in her mouth she said it was spicy and deterred her. The next day she actually wanted it on (maybe because we made it fun like painting her nails) but it legit took maybe a week and now I don’t even need to put it on anymore!

It doesn’t work, after few minutes applying the solution she’s sucking. I used it for 7 days, no changes at all, I will keep using for 3 weeks I don’t think that will make a change.

Worked about a week. Tastes bad so helped keeping fingers out of mouth. But not a long term solution for nail biters. Maybe more successful in younger kids than 10.
