Expensive for a user manual
A colour hardcopy version of this manual should really have been included with The Spectrum. The colour screenshots in the hardback version aren't glossy. They are just flat standard colour printer style images. I was hoping for better for the money. If you want to buy it get the much cheaper paperback version

Really good quality. Exactly as described and flawless condition. Plenty of detail and lots of good quality, full colour pictures.

It's ok, but read the table of contents in the sample pages
I got the hardcopy version which is nicely printed and contains setup and configuration information for the machine, and then information about all the in-built games; what keys you need to press to work the games for example, which is very handy. The one thing this book is missing, is all the information that was included in the original Sinclair manual specifically about the programming language. If they ever do an extended version that is hardback, thicker, spiral bound, and includes all the information on the BASIC I'll be first in line for a copy.

Das Handbuch ist wirklich sehr schön gemacht. Es hat ein Hardcover und ist durchgängig farbig bebildert. Die ersten 50 Seiten sind das eigentliche Handbuch, die restlichen ca. 200 Seiten sind die Beschreibung zu den inkludierten Spielen. Eine Anleitung zum inkludierten alten Sinclair-BASIC gibt es nicht. Aber wer dazu etwas nachschlagen will kann sich die Infos googeln (zx spectrum manual pdf) oder auf WorldOfSpectrum.net nachschlagen.
