Dye free product!
We love the beautiful blue color. There is no smell to the product and is easily used and scooped out of packaging. Personal note: My grandson is high functioning autistic and with lots of research and speaking to specialists we were informed to take dyes out of his food. He loves the color blue and red (bought beet powder too) and both colors are in most foods. We chose to use natural food dyes and this Blue Butterfly Pea powder (quality is wonderful) has a beautiful light to dark blue color ( depends on your color preference) to make a whipped cream cupcake (or cake) topping.

Wonderful color!
I made some red white and blue sourdough bread for Memorial Day and the colors I achieved with the colored powders were nothing short of amazing! The powder doesn’t have a taste to it but it has a bold color quality without the additives like red #40 has. I feel confident and happy knowing my bread offers a healthy a fun pop of color without any unnecessary additives!

Beautiful Color, Subtle Flavor – So Fun to Use!
I’ve been loving this butterfly pea powder! The color is absolutely stunning—it creates the most vibrant blues and purples, depending on what you mix it with. It’s perfect for drinks, lattes, rice, or even baked goods when you want to add a natural pop of color. I’ve also had fun using it in cocktails and watching it change color with citrus—such a cool effect. The flavor is very subtle and earthy, so it doesn’t overpower whatever you’re making. A little goes a long way, and I really appreciate that it’s a natural option without any added dyes. Great quality, super versatile, and just fun to experiment with in the kitchen.

Seems okay but packaging was flawed
The color was good and the powder was good consistency, but the package itself wasn't sealed properly. The bag got tossed in the air and my entire living room was covered in blue powder. The top seal just opened and sprayed powder everywhere. It's a good thing my couches are blue. So I can't say much about flavor, because I wasn't able to use it because the safety of the product was compromised.

Tastes great and dissolves well!
It’s a great quality product with the bonus of convenience. I’ve had butterfly pea tea using the flowers and using the powder makes it 10x more convenient. It’s also a lot less expensive than just getting the flowers to make tea. It’s also got a great aroma, and I think it pairs well with a lemonade or even as a minty latte to change things up!

tastes okay, extremely pretty
The taste and smell are not floral in any way but its earthiness was easily masked by the other herbs in the tea I made with this. I absolutely love the color, only a small amount can produce a wonderful periwinkle

Do not use in baked goods. Just turns extra brown.
I used to sprinkle on sourdough bread that I was using to make a flag design. I also used the red beet powder for the strips. It was an ok taste but it basically turned brown after the bake. Won’t use again for baked items . Maybe I’ll try it in non baked items and will hope for the bast.
