This is a great kitchen appliance
This is a great kitchen appliance, one that I have been missing for a while since my last one (not this brand/model) was destroyed by my ex-wife (hint to the reader or spouses thereof - don't leave these things sitting overnight soaking in water. It's really not good for the skillet or the marriage). This was the first thing I bought after our divorce - okay, just kidding, we didn't divorce, but she did destroy it that way, and the instructions tell you not to do that. Wait until it is cool, then gently clean with soap and water - I was very guilty with our last one of not waiting until it was cool. I know this isn't supposed to be an instructional review on cleaning, but this is key to the skillet actually lasting a long time. People often kill their skillets by cleaning them incorrectly, or using metal utensils on the surface. Read the instructions. Functionally, it is great. I like that it can fold into a small space, but I agree with other reviewers that putting the handles inside of the base is asking for a scraped-up surface. I put a dishcloth between the two for a while (and cautioned the wife to do the same), but have now given up on storing it folded up - dishcloths aren't always handy. Seems to heat pretty evenly to me, and the pour spout is definitely helpful since it doesn't drip back on itself down the side when you use it. I haven't noticed a catastrophic loss of heat through the drain spout, but I am not trying to use it as a steamer. I find it nice to be able to remove the top without having a killer puff of steam lounging at you, followed by splattering oil as the water from the top drips down into the skillet. There is still some buildup, but the spout helps reduce that. Looks nice, large cooking area (great for my big family), easy to clean - it's a winner. I've had to use the cast iron skillet since the last electric skillet broke, and this is infinitely easier to cook with (to me - others may disagree and say I just need to learn how to use a cast iron skillet). It was a long, rough road without it, but she's back now along with the joy of cooking. :)

Wow. Just wow.
Let me start off by saying I have a VERY nice set of stainless steel pots and pans, and this thing has pretty much replaced all of them. It’s big enough for me to meal prep 10 to 12 meals at once, the nonstick is absolutely phenomenal: I literally can clean it with a wet paper towel in about 10 seconds. It heats up almost instantly and the heat feels very even. Chicken, pancakes, eggs, bacon, ground beef, you name it. I honestly made the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had on it tonight, set it to 250 and move them around and they were so fluffy and light. I love that it can store super compact but I honestly keep it on my counter and haven’t even put it away yet. This thing has absolutely changed the way I cook and I get excited every time I get to use it. Just remember to only use silicone or wood utensils or you’ll definitely wreck the nonstick. If you’re on the fence just buy it. You will not regret this product. Trust me on this one.

Great cooking skillet
Love this for cooking because of its great design, accurate temps and see through lid. Use it for cooking more than my wife. Large surface with heating element for more consistent temps throughout the pan. Easy to clean. Extra features like pouring spout that can be used to hold wooden spoon sticking out when lid is on. Great appearance. Quality build.

Best Electric Skillet EVER!
I use an electric skillet almost daily, instead of cooking on my stove top. It's just cleaner and easier that making a mess in skillets or pans, having to clean the stove and surrounding counter tops, pan, etc. Any way, I've been through several electric skillets in the last 20 years. Assorted brands and sizes. Here is what I LOVE about this one. 1. Cooks very evenly. That said, there is absolutely a ring that gets hotter directly over the heating element that you will notice when making sauces or gravy, etc. But it does heat much more consistently throughout the pan basin than others I have used. 2. SUPER easy to clean. Just unsnap the base and the whole skillet goes into the dishwater. 3. Has a pour spout on one side. You can rest a spoon there also. FAB! 4. Nice and deep. Holds a large capacity of whatever you are preparing. You can cook several different things at the same time. 5. The base folds up and stores inside the pan. Put in the power cord, flip the lid upside down and it does not take up much cabinet space at all. I have had this for about 6 weeks and have used it at least 30 times. So far, so fantastic.

Great electric skillet!
I have used this skillet 3 times now and really like it. The high side walls are great to contain any splashes as you cook, and the pan itself is large enough for at least 4 chicken breasts and I have cooked 8 beef ribs in it, so far. Even heating and you don't need much oil. Love the fact it folds up compactly since I have a small kitchen.

This is an awesome pan. Cooks everything even. Clean up great. Don't use metal on it.

I have owned many electric frying pans over the years, all coated, even one coated in ceramic and this appliance is the best one I have ever purchased. I love the large size. The ability to take it from its stand and put it in the top of the dishwasher is A-Mazing! I love the rounded edges. And even better than the ease and aesthetics, is how evenly it cooks. Most Pam's seem to get really hot where the elements are but this one seems to be hot equally everywhere. And I have now had it for a few months and with almost daily use the pan looks perfect and you cannot see where the elements even are (some of the ones I owned in the past discoloured quickly where the elements are. All on all I would highly recommend this pan.
