Glenlivet 15.
This is by far my favorite whisky. Better than the 12 and the 18 in my opinion.

This is very good whisky.
First the whisky . Very good indeed. Lovely nose, superbly complex and moreish with loads of lingering flavours of fruit and wood. No alcohol after punch on the finish either. A real traditional Speyside flavour. I will replace BUT only st the right price. £44 is the price to show the discount from. If you see at £33ish grab it. Only loses a star because of its artificially inflated RRP. Given there far inferior malts at this price point (cough !! Dalmore cough!@) I highly recommend this whisky . For me a great Autumn dram to be enjoyed on the start of the wind and rain with a great movie in the warm.

All good, except was delivered as a bottle - no packaging, no box, no bag, no envelope - just as you would pick up from a supermarket. Just a bit odd for Amazon to deliver like that.

Dopo il ritiro del Pure Malt Glenlivet 12 anni dal mercato europeo e la sua sostituzione con il men che modesto e sconsigliabile Glenlivet Founder's Reserve senza indicazione di età (NAS- no age statement), visto che la vita è troppo breve per bere del whisky scadente, chi apprezzava il Glenlivet 12 anni può ben rivolgersi a questo Glenlivet 15 anni French Oak. Si tratta di un whisky molto buono, con un eccellente aroma fruttato e un ottimo sapore rotondo. A guardar bene su Internet lo si trova ad un prezzo di poco superiore ai 35 €. Rispetto al 12 anni il 15 anni French Oak è più aromatico e di sapore più dolce, ma si viaggia comunque su un livello di qualità decisamente elevato. Come dicono gli inglesi, il re è morto, viva il re !
