Great little rig. It’s solid. I feel like it’s a little heavy, but my husband thinks it’s just right. I tease him by calling it a “man killer” because it will really hurt if you’re lying in bed and drop it on your face. It’s easy to put on and take off the phone. It fits the iPhone 16 pro perfectly snug. It’s designed with a lot of areas where you can attach a tripod. My picture shows it attached to a mini little tripod, which I absolutely love!

2 issues with this case, neither are enough to drop a star. The case collects small particles of dirt and grime from being my every day carry case for my phone, I occasionally take frame off of phone for cleaning with phone wipes. Around the lens the rubber rings glued to the cage have came off, for me not an issue due to I don’t use lenses enough for it to matter I keep the rubber rings and pt on before adding lenses. The cage has a couple scratches in the paint due to drop damage, no damage to structure of the cage and has protected the phone very well, even the glass screen protector has been protected completely by cage any other case I’ve used would of at minimum cracked the screen protector by now from drops but not this cage still using original screen protector I put on phone 2 years ago.

Well thought out product for the money with tight tolerances out of the box and handles very well. I don't use this very often so after several months it has seen only occasional use. Old Manfrotto tripod plates seem to securely fit. My only complaint is replacing the battery in the remote shutter release - multiple small screws make it a 5 minute process to replace the 2032 battery cell on the remote release. Easy to switch side handles from vertical to horizontal orientation. Frame covers the lower right-side action button on my 16 pro Max iPhone but that's a minor quibble. Holding the handles gives some manual image stabilization that combined with my phone's image stabilization really helps in lowlight conditions when not using my phone's built-in flash.

This system is really well set up, and the included case fits really well. I do wish the frame fit more 3rd party cases (didn't fit mine), but considering one is included it's not really a knock against it. The camera cover on the case, however, does jut out a bit - and the finish on the aluminum if pretty easily scratched. Don't expect this to look like new for long, but it's plenty hardy.

I’m using this case, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. The build quality feels premium with the metal finish — perfect for video shooting setups. The threaded mounts are really useful for attaching lights, tripods, and other accessories. What I liked the most is the camera protection design. I’ve already broken two camera protectors before, so this gives me real peace of mind. It fits perfectly and feels strong. The only thing to note is that the back of the phone remains open — the frame is solid and well-built, but there’s no rear protection. It would be great if SmallRig could offer an optional back cover to make it fully secure. Still, for this price, it’s an amazing value — sturdy and professional. Most similar products on the market are around £20 and feel cheap, but this one is on another level. Overall, an excellent and well-designed cage for creators. 👌🎥

Great but the clip to screw filters / lenses on does disconnect easily jn your pocket and it will be just a matter of time before you will loose it. A more magnetic touch would have saved that problem.

Qualidade muito boa. Só acho que poderia ter mais roscas para prender acessórios. Estou gostando muito. A pegada de filmar com celular muda completamente.

Cumple con todo y es muy agradable de llevar en mano.

Actualización Agosto 2025 Mal diseño al colocar pequeñas gomas en el area de conexión del lente. Tres de varios que adquiri ya no tienen una o las dos "gomitas" que dan fricción al lente para qur no quede "bailando. Se despegan, uno no se da cuenta por lo que se pierden. ------- Compra 100% segura SmallRig empresa seria y comprometida en ofrecer un excelente servicio al cliente. Inmediatamente después de dejar mi opinión, me contactaron y me ofrecieron solucionar al 100% de mi satisfacción, el problema que tuve, recibí sin cargo el reemplazo de los artículos afectados. Sin duda, seguiré comprando sus artículos y recomendándonos..
