I akr ady had a 'very well known name' blood pressure reader, but it was substantially more bulky, I'd lost the battery cover and decided to replace it.Call me a bit daft, but while that device worked fine as might have many alternatives to this, I hated the cream 'medical device' nature of the that just made me feel old and now reliant on medical stuff in my bedside cupboard.Thus is significantly smaller, works well and I'm gloss black does not have that depressing "I've come to this point in my life" hospital-visual association.

So redo a couple of times. When you are used to the machine and de-stressed take a truth reading. The machine will log all your readings and give you an average, not good if you are already stressed from the set up ha!But overall this machine is cheap, easy to use / read and does the job. Recommended.
