Rolyan Scar Management Mini Massager

This device was recommended by my hand therapist to reduce scarring post dermofaciectamy for Dupuytren's and seems to be working well, with linear scars now much reduced after a couple of weeks usage, and certainly more targeted and less effort than manual (thumb) massaging. The massager takes one 'C' size battery (included) and is claimed to last 90 hours; after using for at least 5 minutes twice a day for 16 days (you do the maths) it's still going strong. The hemispheric head (a point and flat plate are also included) is most suitable for this use-case.

Initially this massager worked well although the original battery only lasted a week. Over the next few weeks you had to jiggle the unit around to ensure the battery connected properly to make it work and after 6 weeks the unit was going so slowly even with a new battery that it became unusable. Sounded like the motor within it was going to patch in. On contacting the seller via the Amazon links asking for a replacement unit, I’ve had no reply whatsoever. Not only a very inferior product but non existent customer service too so be prepared to write your purchase off.

Good little product for the price compared to others seen on here and what physio uses nowadays. Not as good as the one my physio used on me originally but for the money doesn’t really make a difference with its ultimate aim. Does what it’s suppose to, mainly smaller scars and has helped with my scar tissue if you cannot massage the skin yourself.

I was recommended by my physio to purchase this mini massager to help with scar tissue after a recent operation on my knuckles. I use it 3 x per day with dermo cream on my scar tissue to aid increased movement in my fingers. I have only been using it for a few days but I have every confidence that this is going to be beneficial.

I like the fact that it is lightweight , and quiet enough to use whilst watching tv. Sadly is simply stopped working after two weeks of use on scar tissue following tendon repair in my hand. I don't like the fact that it stopped working after a couple of weeks. I need to use 4 times a day, I bought this one in January 24 as a replacement of the same item I bought in December 23 I cannot afford to purchase a third

Excellent multiple use don’t buy the others waste ones they leak and thing plastic, this product seals perfect

This item was fine at first,, but just stopped working after a few days. I changed the battery, but still wouldn’t work. I tried to return the item, but was told it was unreturnable. This is not an acceptable outcome. I feel cheated.
