Larger than I expected but I did order the XL. Seems extremely sturdy at this point! Great buy.

I ordered one, assembled when arrived, and the metal pins that go up and down from the door latch into the plastic crate didn't line up with the holes in the plastic crate. We pushed them and even tried to bend them a bit, as it was really close. We took all the screws out of the top/bottom assembly and re-assembled, just to make sure it wasn't something with them being off slightly. We tried tightening the screws and loosening them; we even tried switching the door from a righty opening to a lefty opening; nothing worked. I contacted the seller and after asking for photos they sent me a replacement. This on was closer, but still the same issue. If we pushed really hard on the metal pins that came down and went up into the plastic holes we could usually get it to latch. Ultimately it was too much work to do that each time we needed to use the carrier, and we didn't feel comfortable with the security of our cat if we needed to use it. I returned both. I give it two stars because the crate was solid, and if the holes had lined up this would have been a very sturdy crate I would have been happy to use. Also two stars because the customer service was excellent. They responded quickly, and sent that first replacement very quickly.

The media could not be loaded. I added a video to this review showing two pet carriers side by side. The carrier on the LEFT is the cheap, not-airline-approved karmas pet carrier. The carrier on the right is a carrier I purchased previously that ships from the UK. I bought and used the carrier on the RIGHT when I took my cat from Italy to the USA in Lufthansa cargo. I have experience flying my pets internationally twice previously (USA to Italy and back).This karmas cheap flimsy carrier could easily break with your pet in it. The sides are unsafe, bendable, thin and weak. The carrier is NOT ventilated on all four sides, which is required for most airlines. The seller seems to have strategically left out any pictures showing the back side of the carrier has no air holes. The screws for this carrier can easily fall out of the thin holes drilled for them. I would NEVER put my pet in this for a car ride, let alone for a flight, especially not for an international flight. I give this a 1 star, and I also give the seller 1 star for the way they marketed this product incorrectly. I purchased it and asked for a return imediately. You precious pet could be seriously injured in this cheap thing.

A nice quality carrier, comfortable for the pet and fairly easy to assemble. I think it would be fine for family travel but I don't think it would meet airline regulations; that would have to be checked. Very nice for my purposes, though, to transport pets to vet appointments. I have two of these in different sizes and they've been solid, dependable carriers so far.

Very easy to assemble and worked very well for us when transporting our pets by air.

After a long search for the right size kennel to fit in my vehicle, I decided Karmas Kennel. I intended to put it right to use as soon as it arrived. Upon it's arrival and while putting it together I noticed right away that the door that shipped with my kennel was to small. I contacted the company as I needed the kennel and it being a rather large item, I wanted to avoid sending it back. I had to send a different kennel back because of size and as I stated I needed one. I asked them if possible to send me the right size door as the one that was sent with the kennel would not lock properly. Long story short they were unable to find the right size door and refunded some of my money. Thankfully my dog is a calm traveler and has not tried to get out of the kennel because the door does not lock. As far as fit goes for my vehicle, it's perfect.
