30/10mm (40mm) Nickel Euro Single Cylinder Lock Barrel with 3 Keys for UPVC and Patio Doors

Locks used for internal cupboard doors which shared a common lock with other cupboard doors in our apartment building. They are very easy to install.

This is perfect for learning about locks and locksport in general because it uses grub screws to secure the driver pins. Removing these and looking at the driver pins is very easy with an appropriate allen key. Due to this design it is an easy matter to repin the lock (either the driver pins, key pins or both) and a repinning shoe is not required. The example that was delivered to me did not have the most challenging bitting (to put it mildly) but for what I wanted it for and because of the ease of repinning, this really is not an issue. In short, a good value, versatile practice lock which I'm very happy with.

Needed replacement barrel for old style Cardale garage door lock , this is perfect replacement, 40 mm overall length, wich is 30mm from key end to lock swivel centre, and 10mm from swivel to other end, old retaining screw fitted, but there is a longer new one if required. Three keys supplied, all feels quality, all good ,and recommended.

Advertised as 3 keys, but only 2 delivered. Had to handle with care and file one edge because of a sharp burr. Good size match for the original Garador installation though locking lever required filing to fit.

Very fast delivery and just as described in listing. Keys are robust and the lock is smooth to operate. Easy to fit. I'm not using it to secure high value items so its perfect and at an amazing price. I can't comment on the reliability and longevity issue obviously but I'm quite satisfied in all other respects. If I need a lock I know where to go....
