My Frigidaire Ice maker will occasionally make an awful grinding and squealing noise. I was cleaning regularly with vinegar and while thay worked most of the time, sometimes it took quite a few cleaning cycles before it would stop making the noise. It took a lot of effort and was a pain. One tablet and we havent had an issue! Solved the problem immediately. I ran the cleaning cycle several times just to be cautious. The ice machine is operating like new and it was very easy. Without a doubt cleans better than just vinegar alone.

I was pleasantly surprised by how effective these tablets were. The instructions were super easy and quick to execute. After the cleaning cycle was completed i noticed a significant improvement in smell and taste. It reassuring to know that there are no lingering tastes or residues left behind. The only thing you need to do is make sure you rinse off the ice machine inside the unit because residues end up getting removed from internal tubes which is great. Overall i am glad i have these tablets a try and will definitely continue using them for regular maintenance on my ice maker.

I used this on a commercial ice maker that came with the house I bought. The previous owner did not maintain it well, and so it had a lot of scale buildup on it. I used an ACTIVE Ice Machine Cleaner tablet, following the included and well written instructions. After running the cleaning cycle on the ice maker, most of the scale was loosened up and pretty easily removed. While it didn't remove all of it, it did remove the vast majority of it. Bear in mind there was a great deal of scale buildup, and who knows how long it was there, so I didn't expect to get it all out. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much it did remove. Hopefully with regular use, it will remove a little more with each cycle. At the very least, I am confident it will maintain the ice maker's current condition.

These cleaning tablets for the ice machine is very powerful. It doesn't leave a taste to any of the ice when you start reusing it. There's not a smell to it or stickiness, a great value for the money. This is something that I will be using on a routine basis to keep my ice machine working great and having good healthy ice whenever we want.
