This is a fun board for sure, and the magnetic darts work pretty well, but I bought it to avoid it damaging my walls. Bad decision. Instead of small punctures in the wall, it leaves dents whenever you miss the board. Arguably, that's worse. If you want to avoid damaging the walls, just get a normal board with regular darts.

Dart board for a gift. He loved it

Got this for our 9 year old Grandson, it was on his wish list. We've had magnetic dart boards before, but the were garbage. He plays with it often. So far it is doing great and he's had it for 3 months.

I bought this as a gimmicky addition to my college dorm room. It's something kind of fun, kind of goofy to mess around with for a little while. The magnets aren't super strong, so the darts will move around a bit on the board when they hit it. My biggest disappointment with this product is its durability. After just a single use, there were some dents in the board where it had been struck by the darts. After half a dozen uses, the board was really beat up, and the darts couldn't stick to it as easily. After a few more uses, the darts even started coming apart. The magnets started chipping and coming off, all while the board was still becoming increasingly unusable as well. I personally wouldn't buy this product again, but if you needed something kind of fun to use just a couple of times, then this could be the right choice for you. I will also mention that other magnetic dartboards at this price aren't any better, at least in my experiences, so you can expect a similar experience across the board (no pun intended).
