*excellent* value for your hard earned money - high structural integrity
I've had this device for approximately a week now. I will update this review again with notable developments. OVERALL: I'm self-employed , and my income is irregular. as a result, when it comes time for replacing something as integral to my work as my mobile device I usually spend hours coming through specifications before actually buying. first and foremost I'm looking for specific chipsets and random access memory capacities, ability to record 60hz video(THIS DEVICE CANNOT) on the less important end. in the end I did purchase this phone, needless to say I like the way the specs sheet looked. very little hang up and FPS drops during day-to-day operations. CAMERA: the photo of the car was taken with this devices "pro" camera option, so i assume thats what this camera suite's got. while probably not the best on the block, i am happy with it. remember, value for money is paramount. plus i use a second device (pixel 4 xl) so if i need nice photos ill use that. ACTUAL PERFORMANCE: the other photo is a screenshot of cpu-x battery page. what has stood out to me the most during the short time that I've had this device is it's cooling. when I took the screenshot, the device was on a mount in my vehicles windshield during the hottest part of the day and direct sunlight. with the charger connected I took that screenshot after monitoring the chipsets temperature sensor readout and was thoroughly impressed with its cooling capabilities. while i did lose a bit of raw performance, functionality did not suffer at all. all other devices I've used in this scenario would have given up and thermal throttled within 15 minutes of being placed in the mount, and this device was fine until i removed it. the charger was probably on its lowest setting but I still noticed the percentage going up. synopsis: this was supposed to be my backup, and be run off my Wi-Fi hotspot. I like this device so much I swapped in my SIM card. so it's now my primary. many thanks to the developers at UMI. I WILL MOST DEFINITELY give them my business going forward. especially since they offer devices equipped with qualcomm. if you are on the fence about buying this phone or any other from this organization, you can't go wrong in my opinion. i opted to disable automatic security updates after hearing issues with connectivity post update.

A great phone for everyday use
This is one rugged phone. The casing is impressive. Dropped and "killed" my last two devices so I needed a tank. This one qualifies. It is on the thick and heavier side, but it is the trade-off for longetivity... It's fast enough for great gaming, loud, bright and no bloatware except for the required apps to operate the hardware. Good call coverage, Wifi and GPS. The "programmable" buttons (one on each side) can be annoying as they are located exactly where you hold the device, BUT they can be deactivated, which I did. The battery actually surprised me as I managed well over 24 hours with all ON (GPS, DATA, WIFI, Health and fit detectors AND a BT smart watch in use).

The worst phone I've owned since smart phones were invented.
I bought two, the first one lasted less than 3 months before the charger tab in the port on the phone broke and the phone bricked since it's incapable of charging, the second one lasted six months and now it takes two days to fully charge from 30% and the battery last half a day at full charge. Both chargers now have an electronic discharge the moment it's put into an outlet, as in throws sparks as it's plugged in. The phones hardware is ok, but the battery, charging port, and charger are the worst out of about 50 phones I've had from various manufacturers since 08, just the charger issue makes it not worth the money and an unchargable phone is worthless. Avoid this phone, a cheap carrier phone is better.

*Updated review* Everything is great, except if you intend to make a phone call.
Update. My original review is below this update. After several emails back and forth with the seller, I was able to exchange the phone and received a replacement within a day or two. I've been using the replacement phone for a few weeks now and it appears to be working just fine. I'm not sure if maybe I had just received a "lemon" or if my issues are more common. I recall reading some other reviews that state that the phone relies too much on Wifi calling and also another review that said something about people on the other end of the call not able to hear you. Both of those reviews are symptoms of what I was going through with the first phone they sent me. My advice would be to make sure Wifi calling is turned off and make several calls to make sure that the other person can hear you. The phone always sounded good on my end, so it was hard to know that there was a problem until the friend I was calling told me about it. If you experience any of those issues, it's a possibility that your phone is afflicted with the same problem and you should contact the seller. (End of updated review). Overall, I really want to like this phone, but one issue stands in the way. This phone is bound and determined to use Wifi calling, even while Wifi calling is turned off. Wifi calling is not reliable at all (which isn't normally a big deal since you can ordinarily just disable that feature) however this phone will pick up any saved/open Wifi network during the middle of a call which makes it impossible for the party on the other end to hear me. Not good for business. Driving down the highway, trying to do business over the phone and if you happen to be passing businesses with open networks, well you can kiss your customers goodbye. What makes it even worse, I've contacted the seller twice about this issue with no response. As I said, I really wanted to like this phone but the issue with the calls along with absolutely no customer service, makes this a 2 star review.

Great phone, reasonable cost!
Good phone features, easy setup and easy to use! The camera takes clear pictures and has a lot of editing features too! I like the two buttons the phone has for personal setting options. It is strong and sturdy, yet not too heavy or bulky to hold or carry. I also appreciate that the phone didn't come loaded with extra apps that I don't want and won't use, therefore allowing more storage on the phone, I get to pick my apps! The sound quality is also very clear. This phone is worth every dollar I spent, high end phone without high end cost!

It was a great phone but...
It says 4G for all carriers. AT&T phone service worked fine. Wi-Fi worked fine. However, I could not get the mobile data to work no matter what. Tried a new Sim card, contacted AT&T they said there wasn't a problem on their end. Just different frequencies. Ended up returning the phone. Shame, cause it was nice. If you have any other service besides AT&T, I'd recommend this phone.

Too reliant on Google/horrendous wifi calling
UPDATED: Below is my original review. My review includes my personal opinions. Decide for yourself if any of my issues are worth your decision to purchase. *And note the NO Refunds/Returns on this phone* My update is to let the reader know I was offered 4 different payout options to delete my comment and review. Starting at $20 and going up to $50 when I didn't respond. They said they changed manufacturing to improve my concerns. Which is great, but I will not be bribed to change an honest review if it may affect your decision to purchase. I told them I would be happy to provide an updated review with an updated phone to review. I will reiterate from My review, the phone is not overall bad. It just doesn't meet my standards. I would've appreciated the opportunity to read an honest review like this to make my decision. Some of you may still buy this phone, and that is good for you and them! (Although, check the actual website for the phone,I think it's cheaper there) Just do your research and decide for yourself. LAST UPDATE: multimedia/group messages don't download well on wifi. Doesn't come with headphones, which isn't major, I just miss new headphones with the purchase of a new phone. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'll start with the positive that the camera is a lot better than my previous phone (may or may not be best, but all I needed) as well as the screen resolution. Two factors that led me to purchase the phone. It seems to run fairly fast and seems durable. I've had a few people say it's too heavy, but I haven't really noticed. The shortcut buttons are good, but not necessarily in the best location. And in addition, the power and volume buttons all being on the same side are not ideal. Maybe just takes time to get used to. I didn't realize(possibly my lack of research which I thought I did plenty of) it was so reliant on Google. You can't uninstall any of the Google features and the Google Search widget is permanently on the home screen. It seems really glitchy. Several apps will pause and then close out randomly. The wifi calling is horrendous/awful and any worse word you can describe it. I need the wifi calling because my service can be spotty in my facility. It sounds gargled, sometimes even robotic every other word, and will drop frequently. Battery life is sufficient, but I wish I would've selected one with longer power. I can make it through about a day and a half, which I guess is right on with how much I use it. The charging seems to be really slow too. I'm debating returning it... I wouldn't necessarily recommend unless the camera and screen resolution are the only things you need to improve in your phone status. O, the thermometer is cool, but never use it...

Excellent Smartphone
Excellent Android smartphone running Android 11. This phone is unlocked and works flawlessly on my Verizon Carrier. Shipped immediately, unboxed upon arrival, SIM card removed from my older Motorola and up and running in just a few minutes. The price is great for this Smartphone.
