Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Classic Peyton Watch, 3-Hand Date, Sapphire Crystal, Luminous Markers

Current wrist size 7 3/8" - Links removed two. Wanted a simple white face watch with two-tone silver and gold (not rose gold). This watch was what I was looking for. Because it is an Eco-Drive, I don't have to worry about setting the time if I don't wear it for a few days. The Luminous markers are bright, but don't last as long as some of my more costly watches. Then again, I didn't buy it for that. I love that this has a sapphire crystal and 100-meter (10 Bar) water resistance. So, in three weeks, the watch is within a half-second of sync with my Atomic and Satellite watches, so the time retention at this point is very good. The watch supports hacking, so you can stop the second hand at the 12 position and start it exactly at the time, which can happen when you have to advance the date. Since this isn't a perpetual watch, months with fewer than 31 days require you to manually change the date, which doesn't take long at all. This is a great-looking dress watch that punches above the price point and looks much more expensive than it is. The quality is excellent, and though far from my most expensive watch, it is one of my favorites. As for size, I had to remove some links from the band to get it to fit properly. The links are easy to remove if you have a watch kit. (I ordered one on Amazon), and it took less than five minutes. If you remove them yourself, note that you will have to take from each side of the bracelet so the buckle stays centered. The dial size and thickness are perfect when you're wearing a dress shirt or a suit. The dial is not so big that it overpowers your wrist, and the watch is thin enough to easily slip under your shirt sleeve.

It’s a beautiful watch, I bought it for my boyfriend for valentines and I’m sure he’ll love it it’s a beautiful green, it came without any scratch and has good quality.

I used to be a watch snob all hung up on Swiss automatics and higher end high beat Japanese automatics. However, after my 2002 Omega Seamaster automatic stopped running for the fourth time and Omega wanted $750 to service it, I decided automatics are cool and all with their smooth sweep hand but just far too expensive to keep running. Those ETA 2824 and Sellita SW200 clones run well for about 5 years but then they start to slow down as the oil inside dries up and congeals, and then you have to pay someone to disassemble it, put the parts in an ultrasonic machine, and then reassemble, oil, and adjust it. Too much effort. Too much money. I decided to get a low maintenance simple watch. I have a few requirements for a watch. (1) It has to have a sapphire crystal. Mineral crystals just scratch too easily. (2) It has to have at least 100 meters of water resistance (preferably 150 meters like the aqua terra). (3) It has to be 40mm at a minimum as I have a 7.25 inch wrist and I'm an older man with failing eyesight. Unfortunately the fashionable trend at the moment is for smaller watch faces like 38mm, not a fan of that. (4) It has to have a clean, legible dial. I cannot tolerate a busy watch dial. Are you really going to time your track meets with your Omega Speedmaster? Just want to look down and see the time. (5) No date function. I can't see it anyway so it just clutters the dial. Don't want it. This watch met 4 of my 5 requirements. Unfortunately it has a tiny date window that I'm pretty sure no one on planet Earth can read, but I can overlook that I guess. It has a sapphire crystal, is 100 meters water resistant, has a clean and legible dial in a very attractive green color, and it has a fairly large watch face, although I wish it were a few millimeters larger. I despise bracelets so the first thing I did was remove that and put it on a 22mm 3 ring zulu strap I had laying around. Much more comfortable and it looks pretty good. It reminds me of those simple watches from the 60's. There are only two downsides to the watch. (1) There is no anti-reflective coating (AR coating) to the sapphire crystal and this thing reflects light like crazy making it hard to read at times. It's probably expensive to apply AR coating so whatever but I may have to put some polarizing film over it. Could come in handy if you get lost in the woods and need to signal a rescue chopper. (2) The lume is terrible. I mean it's weak. If you were out in the bright sun for a few hours and fell into a sinkhole, this thing would be legible for maybe 10 minutes. I was surprised by this. Seiko has terrific lume and Citizen does on their dive watches too. Omega has great lume as well. This lume is equivalent to what my 2014 Christopher Ward dive watch had on it. But overall I'm happy with it. Keeps great time and I don't have to worry about it stopping due to my sedentary work from home lifestyle.

My son is 14 and wanted an adult looking watch ie a gold band. He really loves it. Needed some adjustment for his small wrist. Had to remove 3 stubs but looks great. He’s satisfied so I’m happy. I think you can’t go wrong with citizen.

Have had a similar Citizen watch for many years and wanted to try a new look. This watch appealed and I have always liked Citizen quality, and was quite pleased with the price. I ordered it hoping it wasn’t one of those “too good to be true” offers. Turns out it is a beautiful well priced Citizen watch. Currently at the jewelers being sized to fit me. Eager to wear it A real find.

I bought this for my son. He loves it and completes his look. Very good quality even after wearing almost a year

Great watch & clasp but I need to find a jeweler to remove a couple links. The clasp means I can wear the watch loosely and still not be concerned about falling off my wrist.

My husband loved his watch. I got it for Valentine’s Day and he couldnt be more happy. The watch looks expensive without it being too much money.

Es el primer Eco Drive solar que adquiero tiene manecillas 3 dos de ellas iluminadas como también la corona con sus minutos se aprecia un Reloj Elegante muy fuerte y la verdad muy duradero. Yo lo aprecio como un Mega Reloj Indestructible para largos años. Mis respetos a Citizen y por su puesto es de manufactura Japonesa, es un Reloj de cuando menos para unos 10 años o más si se cuida y te olvidas de comprar pila cada 2 Años. Pueden ser tan duraderos como un Reloj de Movimiento de cuerda y Automático.

I ordered this watch and was a bit hesitant due to the price being as low as it was. The box was a bit scratched but not a big deal the watch however was immaculate and brand new as advertised definitely worth what I paid for it.

Can't get over how nice this is for the price. Also shipped very fast.
