Have had this mount for 2 weeks now and it works quite well. It seems well built and it seems it'd last. I installed it on the windshield. It also comes with a "sticker"/base for dashboard mount but my dashboard is curved so I didn't try it (suction won't work as well on a curved surface). I cleaned the windshield area first with rubbing alcohol just in case. The suction cup has adhesive on the perimeter so it attaches really well. It's hard to then remove but is doable - I moved it twice (first time because I decided to go from horizontal to vertical orientation, and second to leave more space for the charging cable). It's fairly stable while driving and there is very minimal shaking (at least on paved roads, didn't try dirt or gravel). There is a ball joint on the back with nut to adjust the tension. It was easy to tighten it just right so I can adjust the tilt by hand without it being too loose and sagging by itself. The angle of the arm attaching to the suction cup can be adjusted to several positions - they "click"/ratchet and can be tightened with a knob. That probably had to have several fixed positions so it won't sag, but it limits a bit possible positions. So I picked what I liked first and tightened it before installation to be sure it can sit just right. The telescoping arm can be extended several inches and there is another knob to tighten it - that works as expected. There is a "lip" on the bottom that holds the phone, and that can be pushed down by half an inch or so. Extend it fully before mounting (I first didn't do that and had to reposition); then you push it up if you need space for the charging cable. The "lip" has opening in the middle for charging cable (that's where my Android charges but don't know other devices). The phone locks with the two side "wings" which can be pressed/closed by hand. There is a button on the back to release them. That works well, the phone is held securely when driving, and is easy to remove. Overall quite nice and better than I expected.

I bought this for a recent trip to Europe where I was nominated to be the driver. I needed something cheap and light but strong enough to hold the phone steady. It worked perfectly - the phone was secure but I also was able to move the flexible arm for maximum visibility. It was also easy to remove. Definitely recommended.

I love how I can mount this holder so that my phone does not block my vision and view of the road. Because my dash is textured I had to use the disc for mounting the holder. The first time I installed it, I followed the directions of wiping the dash with water before putting the adhesive disc on. It did not adhere. But when I chose to return it, they quickly offered me a replacement. The next time I wiped the dash with alcohol wipes, and the disc stuck extremely well, and was very strong. I am quite happy with this so far. It is a huge improvement from the holder I had previously.

I need a device to hold my phone so that I could see my map directions without looking down and taking my eyes off the road. This phone mount is exactly what I needed. It was easy to install and works perfectly for what I need. I can now put my phone either on my dashboard or from my windshield and view my directions without ever lowering my head. The grip strength of the suction cup holds the device amazingly well. Fantastic purchase. ***Review update*** after over a year of use, I still find this car phone mount to be quite a good purchase, and has continued to be very functional. The only real issue I had was that the original review that I wrote, although accurate was also coerced by being offered a $25 gift card to write a positive review. Thankfully the product proved to make my initial review an accurate one.

I've tried numerous car phone holders, but this one takes the cake! The versatility in adjusting it to my exact needs is impressive. I own the 11 Pro Max, and this holder fits it well. The release button is spot on, and despite scorching temperatures reaching the high 90s and triple digits for two weeks straight, this champion held its ground on my dashboard. While other brands surrendered and ended up on the floor, this one stood strong. No more wasting money for me—I'm happy with it!

This phone holder is very easy to install on your car windshield, and the suction is very powerful--there's no way this thing is falling off! The arm swivels and it's easy to adjust, which is great if you're using your phone for GPS or your passenger is your navigator, so you need to turn it around. Also, once adjusted, you can lock the arm in place, so it won't move around while you're driving. I like that there's a dashboard mounting option too, but I haven't tried that. I would recommend this as an affordable product that securely holds your phone while you're driving.

Worked great at first, but the adhesive gave out after 6 months. My dashboard is not completely flat, so that may have contributed. This will likely hold up better on a perfectly flat surface.

I don't know how many I bought different car mounts for 5 years, but nothing makes feel me like I got a good one. all the mounts I have used didn't last long, maybe a couple of weeks to a couple of months at most. But this mount came to me differently from the others I used when I set it up. Just use a 3M black sticker (in the kit) on the surface and attach the holder to it. There are different ways for setup but I don't know the others. But the way to set it up I did is stable and sturdy like as it originally mounted. I've been using this mount for 3 weeks, it seems like of the car mounts I've used so far, this one has the strongest base mount to connect the holder to the surface. Suction Power: 5 out of 5 definitely. Adhesion: 5 out of 5 so far Easy to install: 5 out of 5 (Super easy!!)

Fell off very quickly when I was driving and it won’t reseal.
