I'm kind of surprised that the ROG light bar doesn't work with my ROG monitor... I'm not able to stabilize it on the top of my monitor.

ASUS ROG Aura Monitor, Asus Quality, but at best extremely basic, the front light bar is impressive and well, thats it. The rear RGB isnt bright, doesnt project onto wall or room at all. At this price point a logo, better projection would be expected. My previous ColorPanda LIGHT bar had better Feature as well as the Benq. The intergration with Armory Crate doesnt offer anything NADA, just the ability to sync with Aura Sync. This isnt worth 160 not even worth 50.00 dollars. Theres no smart features and no way to control light besides physically touching the bar. Again not to nitpick but at this price point it lacks features to justify the price. The latter can be or should be a software feature. 12/24/2024 and it doesnt support.

Ordered 2 of these to compliment my rog setups. One package is tampered and the included braided usb c cable has been swapped out with a cheap usb c cable.

Its an okay monitor light bar, it is very expensive for the price when its competitors does the job a lot better for a lower price. The front light is bright and fine, but it doesn't diffuse the lighting too well on my desk. However, the backside RGB lighting has extremely low brightness. It doesn't help it any further for when you turn on the front light itself, the RGB lighting's brightness further decreases substantially. Build quality is overall great, but the scroll wheel to adjust the light feels kind of flimsy. It has a detachable USB C to USB A cable which is nice. Comparison vs Razer Aether Monitor Light Bar: This uses only 5W vs Razer's 10W, resulting in the Razer having much brighter RGB and lighting in general. The Razer also does not dim the RGB at all when having both the front and backlights on at the same time, while the ASUS dims the RGB lighting considerably when you turn on the front light. The ASUS RGB lighting is not that bright to begin with either. Razer's cable is not detachable whereas the ASUS allows you to unplug the cable from the unit. The Asus can also detach the light bar itself from the mount. The Razer also seems to diffuse the lighting over surfaces much better on my desk than the ASUS. I actually kind of like the way you mount the ASUS light bar on your monitor, as it is more flexible with being able to flip the front clip and adjust the tightness in the back. The Razer leaves a gap on my Alienware monitor and the cable going into the underside does not help, whereas the ASUS has the cable going over the mounting and is also more flush with my monitor. Overall, this light bar by ASUS is very overpriced for what you get, and is not worth it vs a lower priced competitor.

The lamp is well made product. It did not fit the curve of my monitor & would not stay attached. I sent it back.

The light is good also the RGB but it’s expensive

The lightbar is great but the clamp dosent fit my asus oled monitor pg32ucdm I fixed it with a ring camera box but I Will upgrade to a customized black block soon. It should work with the curved monitor but I don’t have one to test. Obvious design flaw on the retention spring of the clamp. I hope my review helps someone during Christmas shopping, be sure to check fitment and weird shapes even if it’s an Asus product. 4/5
