Great quality--great bronze finish. Quiet and will move air. Probably needs to be mounted in a corner to aid the oscillating function. Wonderful support from the Matthews staff. :-)

Had this fan right at 2 years and it’s dead. It will oscillate but not turn the blades. We only use it a couple hours at a time 2-4 days a week and only about 4 months out of the year. We haven’t even had to replace the remote batteries yet. It was $350 when we purchased and now $570. At only 2 years of running it’s definitely not even worth the original price.

It's an expensive little fan, even though I bought it on sale. But the criteria of wall mounted, hard wired remote control with oscillating fan means you have limited options. It slow starts with a staggered motion, which is a bit unnerving....hopefully that is normal. It blows some serious air, which is nice. Now the bad part....we have this pointed at our bed because we have vaulted sloped ceilings. Figuring out the exact downward angle it hit us takes some planning. But the oscillation just misses us from the install point, which sucks....wish there was a way to either increase oscillation or have a pivot point or extra mount to angle it more. Still looking for solutions. If I can find a solution, I'll be perfectly happy with this fan. Until then, my wife only gets a little air at night.....sorry wifee....

This fan is expensive. Sometimes you get what you pay for! We have a small-medium irregular shaped covered patio so the ceiling fan is not central to all seating. My favorite spot and two guest seats were not getting coverage and we live in Houston so every seat needs coverage! The inexpensive stand up fan we tried put out the air but sounded like a propeller so fine for me but couldn’t use when we had guests. Tried individual 2 individual fans but had cords everywhere. Finally decided to bight the bullet and anniversary gifted ourselves this fan. Wish we had done so years ago! Note, we did have issue with first fan. But manufacturer was top notch. It took time but they took care of us and it was well worth the wait. Nickel finish is gorgeous! Blends perfectly with our dark taupe paint! LOVE!

after only a few months the fan protection grids started flaking and rusting while this fan was installed inside protected from the elements !!! ..... it is noisier than the old ugly plastic Chinese one that I wanted to replace with this fancy expensive one .... I called the supplier who offered to send me a new one if I would send mine back to him... but I live in Belize, shipped it from USA all the way to here, paid taxes and do not want to pay again for sending it back to the supplier to get my new one.... moreover, a do not want a next one of the same poor quality ..... I am extremely disappointed and feel like I wasted my money here !!! Do not buy !....I was expecting at least some sort of reimbursement nut nothing was offered.

This fan met all our expectations! We replaced a ceiling fan in an exercise room because of the height of the ceiling. Just what we needed!

It has been 2 years since my original purchase of 2 of these fans for my new outdoor space. I wanted a hardwired fan that was mounted to the wall and our options were limited. These fans were not cheap. I had an electrician wire the space for the fans. They put a switch in the house that was to control the power along with the hand held remote. After 2 years and 4 different fans going out I am informed that the fans must be hard wired only and cannot work with an indoor power switch in conjunction with the remote. Per support this configuration ruins the receiver in the unit. At this point I cannot get a refund and was told instead to send the units back to support for repair at my shipping cost and to have my wiring redone to avoid the on/off switch. I am 100% skeptical and 100% unsatisfied with this product. The only positive comment I can make is that the manufacturer's support rep is still communicating with me.
