Great home kitchen safety device!
I hope we never have to use it but it's there in case we do! Very well made! It is better to use this instead of spraying junk all over your stove, or worse trying to put out a fire with water! That could make things worse. We will never be without one of these ever again.

Fire blanket
It’s as described. I didn’t take it out of the bag and won’t because I want it to stay as it came but I really like the gloves that came with it also

Fast delivery
I bought one of these for myself and my daughter to keep in the kitchen. Hopefully I don’t ever need them, but the price seems to be good for two of them.

Short of setting a fire, how do you review this?
A friend who travels widely noted to me that every apartment he rented in Europe had a fire blanket in the kitchen. I'd never heard of fire blankets for the consumer market, but it seemed like a good idea. The problem is, I don't know how to review this without setting a fire, which I have no desire to do. I can say that the blanket and its holding bag look substantial and very much like fire blankets I've seen on commercial sites. The bag has a grommet so you can hang it on a wall. Basic instructions are indicated on the holding bag. The idea is to hang it in an area where fire is most probable -- a kitchen or grilling area, for example -- and that it be obvious enough that it will be noticed if ever needed. it may not be the most attractive thing to hang in your kitchen, but it's not going to do any good if you hide it somewhere out of sight and need it.The package also comes with a pair of gloves and a hook for hanging the blanket. I don't have much faith in either of these items. First, the gloves are supposed to be heat resistant. I doubt it, and I doubt it enough that I am not willing to test them. They do not appear to be Kevlar, but a loosely woven base covered with grip dots, the kind of gloves warehouse workers wear to improve grip. The other problem with the gloves, which are for fairly small hands, is that they are completely separate from the blanket. If you're supposed to use them with the blanket, where is the logical place to put them so you can quickly find and put them on if a fire happens? it just doesn't track logically. Even in the company's product photos, they don't show the person using the blanket as having on the gloves. The hook is also pretty useless. It has some adhesive material on the back, and seems inadequate to the job. The gloves and hook just come off as filler, very cheap things added to the package to make it seem like you're getting more "stuff" than what the competition offers. This filler stuff has become a trend, and it's both wasteful and annoying. It also cheapens the impression of the product overall. The fire blanket and holding bag are the only parts of this set that truly have value. Should I ever need to use it, I hope it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Great Quality Fire Blanket – Safe and Easy to Use
I bought a silicone-coated fire blanket and I’m really happy with it. The quality is great and it works perfectly. It also comes with gloves and a hook, which makes it easy to hang near the stove. Just pull the two ropes and it’s ready to use. I used a fiberglass one before, but it wasn’t as good and it irritated my hands. This one feels safe and skin-friendly. I definitely recommend it. A must-have for every kitchen.

Get That Flame Under Control
Most safety officials will tell you that you can't be too careful and that the more means that you have to extinguish a fire, the better chances you have to save not only your property but your most valued possession. You and your loved ones lives. My wife and I have these everywhere and I like to request them to see if the manufacturers are making them up to the standards needed to keep us safe. I like the blanket's size and material. I also like the included gloves to use when deploying it. An added protection to your hands in the event of a kitchen stove or microwave fire.
