This lift is easy to operate. I am 4 foot eleven inches tall (150 cm) and 113 pounds (51 kg) in weight. I am a little woman. I have been able to easily use this lift to safely move my mother back and forth from the bed to a chair. It was easy to assemble when it arrived. The battery works perfectly. We plug it in to charge every night. I appreciate the design of this device. It is worth the price we paid. It has improved our lives. We have been using it for two years.

My 72 year old disabled wife no longer walks due to back trauma and surgery. This Hoyer lift has made the difference between her having to live out her days in a nursing home and being able to live at home. We have been using it for well over a year with no signs of degradation to the rechargeable battery. She is 5 ft and weighs around 180 lbs. I have used the lift to transfer her between her lift chair and a wheelchair, wheelchair and bed, wheelchair and shower chair and most significantly off of the floor when one of our "transfers" didn't go so well. Nice not having to call 911 for assistance. It has also taken a lot of pressure off of my old back. I remember it being extremely easy to assemble, less than 15 minutes. I watched a few YT videos before trying it out just to be on the safe side. It has worked flawlessly for well over a year. Buy this if you need it, you won't be sorry. This works great after we got it put together. It came in several prices and had to be put together. It was very sturdy and worked great once we figured out what we were doing. We had to look up instructions online because it didn’t come with them. Not sure if they just didn’t include them or if they just don’t come with them but we got it and it works great so just be aware that you do have to put it together. Other than that it’s great. I would purchase again. It is large it picks up a heave guy for me about 250 pound man. So it it very sturdy

My 86 year old Mom spent 3 weeks in a hospital and another 3 in a rehab facility. When we realized she could no longer stand and transfer on her own we began looking for options. This turned out to be perfect. After comparing manual and electric we decided to go with this electric model and are so glad we did. The price is a little higher but we feel well worth the investment. This lift is a little smaller than what they had in the rehab facility which is better for us at home. It moves around very easily on tile and reasonably on carpet. It is very sturdy and we feel very safe using this. The assembly was not difficult (it took two of us less than 30 minutes) but the instructions and are a little unclear (I don't think English was the first language of whomever wrote them) and the pictures sometimes looked slightly different. They didn't update the pictures when the model updated. All in all though it was worth the challenge to figure out as we are very pleased with the product.

This is a must have for anyone who is a care giver. I have used it many times to get my wife off the floor. It works great for getting her out of bed and also getting her in and out of the bath tub. Keeps me and her safe.

I gave this a great review last year. But now the battery died, and the company doesn’t respond at all! There’s no apparent way to get any replacement parts or battery. So this can no longer be recommended. The company has no customer service. “This is a very functional and well-made lift. It is also very reasonably priced. Easy to assemble, relatively small profile and easy to use. The battery lasts weeks before needing a recharge. Cost was less than the Medicare co-pay for an electric lift!”

The lift came quickly and was easy to assemble. I care for my husband's grandmother and this enables me to lift her from bed (by myself) with minimal strain on both of us. The push button feature is marvelous. The charge lasts quite some time. I ordered 2 mesh slings for toilet use. If one is soiled, I have a backup while it's in the wash. I couldn't be happier with this item! It has made a difficult situation just a little bit easier for patient and caregiver. Definitely recommend.

Seems easy enough to assemble and works fine. Just beware it does not come with a sling.
