NOT working!!! I charged it as soon as I opened it. After charging, I took it off and put it back on again, and it showed 50% battery again. The side and center buttons don't work, and the screen doesn't light up!

great product its worth in difficult times

I purchased the MyAnts Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor (8L Gas/8L Diesel), 4000A Peak 12V Auto Battery Jumper from Amazon, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Overheating: After just a few minutes of use, the unit started getting extremely hot, which raises concerns about safety and overall performance. Loud Air Compressor: The air compressor is excessively loud and unpleasant to use. Jumpstarting Issue: The product is supposed to jumpstart a car, but ironically, it requires a jumpstart itself to function properly – very disappointing. Poor Overall Quality: Considering the price, this product feels like a total waste of money and does not live up to the advertised features. I would not recommend this product to anyone based on my experience.

Dint charge. Didnt work at all

I had to use this charger twice since I acquired it. The first time I needed this device was when my car's battery died. I knew that I was having an issue with my battery because the push start button was having issues. The battery ended up dying on me, so I used this device to try to jump start it. The sun had drained the battery to the point that I needed to replace it. I knew this because the starter wouldn't work after a couple of attempts. The second time I needed it was when my tires were low. The air compressor worked as needed and I got my tires filled. The only issue with this unit is that the instructions aren't clear if you done have the manual or the original package. I had to use Google/YouTube to figure out how to use some of the features. This was ok because I was at home and/or had internet reception. I could see this device annoy me if I was in an isolated area. I still plan on traveling with the device as I would rather have it than not.

I have my own battery jumper pack for my car so when I saw this one available, I got it for my girlfriend. Her car has a problem with a battery that slowly drains over time, particularly in the cold. It was easy to charge the jump starter using the provided cable and her fast charging cube. If the need arises, the jumper can also be used as a battery pack for her phone. It's great that it comes with a storage case to protect and contain it in the trunk of her car. She has yet to face a dead battery so I can't yet speak to how it actually works. I will update my review if I have a negative experience.

This is a straightforward package. It includes the battery pack, USB A to C charging cable, jumper cables, hard zipper case, and an instruction pamphlet. I believe the connector on the jumper cables is called an EC5 fitting, somewhat smaller on the inside than an EC8. This jump starter is not much different than others and the included instructions describe it fairly well. I will just mention a few unique features. The battery pack is 470 grams by my measurement. It is 50 g less than another jumper starter I own rated for 3000 A of peak output. The 2000 A on this product is still plenty to turn over engines on passenger cars, and light-duty trucks. The flashlight LED is essentially on the bottom of the unit, the side opposite of the LCD display. That means laying the product down for hands-free illumination will generally obscure the LCD or potentially scratch it. Competing jump starters place the LED on one of the narrow ends of the box which seems more practical. The LED provides slightly purple light. It is reasonably bright and does light up the area under a car hood. A black button on the front face of the jump starter turns on the LCD display to show battery level. Holding it down turns on the flashlight, or turns it off. The display must be on for the battery pack to deliver USB power output. A short press on the button turns off the display and USB output. A black sliding switch on the unit is an analog throwback when most modern jump starters are sporting digital displays connected to buttons. I thought the switch would be an instant kill or safety to completely disable the battery pack, but I was wrong. First, the jumper cables get power regardless of the switch position and whether or not the LCD display is on. The switch actually cuts USB output and turns off the display. However, if the unit is being recharged, the display stays on to show the percentage of battery charge. The switch can not turn off the charging display, nor does it disable charging. The switch does less than I expected and does not seem especially useful. The clamps are fairly strong and pose no issues holding onto a positive 12 V battery post and vehicle frame (negative contact). The jumper cables are short, but serviceable for most cars if you find exposed bolts or unpainted frame or metal components near the positive post. The quirky sliding switch aside, this product is useful for USB output, and more critically, jump starting vehicles with 12 V batteries.

My neighbor's 2021 vehicle wouldn't start so we gave him this jump starter in hopes it would help. It only took him two or three minutes to start the engine. Effective and very easy to use.
