Looks and works perfect for my fuel door
With rising fuel costs, I wanted to secure my diesel tank. I simply drilled a hole in my fuel door, vinyl wrapped it and secured the cam lock using the supplied nut. It holds strong and the key operates smoothly. Overall, I'm very happy with how this project turned out.

Looks good but could be easily broken.
The lock looks good and installs easily. The post the bar latch attaches to is too narrow. My original lock was in a vehicle fuel door that was pryed open. This looks like it would more easily fail.

Replacement Part
Perfect replacement for the lock on my Corbin motorcycle seat. It’s actually better than the original. It’s black and matches the seat. Quick and easy to install.

perfect so far
These seem very well made, very smooth action so far, only time will tell, I used them on the propane doors on my RV, not sure why Grand Designs didn't put locks on them to begin with.

Cheap materials, do not use for anything but light duty!
I used these to secure the doors on a custom made truck topper. 3 out of 5 of these broke! The main cylinder nut broke when installing one - I hand tightened it, and was not wrenching hard. The latch post broke on another after about a month of use, rendering it useless while on a road trip through Baja. On the third, the key somehow became stuck in between open and closed, and I had to remove the latch to open the door. It seem like a pin was coming loose in the lock mechanism.

Ok lock .
Well they are black i had wanted , but one came rather scratched up . So i took some paint to it to make look better on my new box. They are a bit tight in the tumbler but i think a drop of oil and time will free them up . Idea guys , in the black sets wrap the keys or locks in something seperate to eliminate the scratchs . But they work .

Works perfectly
It worked exactly as I needed it too, I don’t know how long it will hold up but it feels like good quality. And as far as other reviewers have stated that the key won’t come out unlocked is not true you just have to make sure the lock is assembled correctly and aligned probably and it works great.

The key is hard to work.
The cut on key is off
